Can't do much with that sky with Picasa. Best to use photoshop or a freebie such as Paint.net and cut and paste onto a better picture of a sky with clouds e.g.

Very nice John...thank you.

Hows this?
Masked eveyrthing except for the sky.

Adjusted the brightness and contrast. (There are large areas of the sky burned out with no info to recover. So other then pasting in another sky no much can be done.)

Used color balance to ad some blue to the mids.

Inverted previous selection and adjusted levels.

Lightened faces by dodging the mids a bit.

Looks like I din't do a great job of masking the trees between the subjects heads. I'd just get rid of them, distracting.

Just new to this myself, but had a go.
See if this is better!

Better...thanks for the effort.

I have triplets in college and thankfully none of them have selected one of these majors. Although we did "nudge" one of them away from Sports Management into Business.

Once you have selected the picture, clicked the "Print" button and the image is displayed as it will be printed, there may be an option to ""Fit Picture to Frame". If that is checked, it attempts to use the full size of the paper and may result in some portions being cut off. Just un-check it.

Found this guy in my back yard on Thursday morning.

Data: Nikon D3100, Tamron 70-300, F/4-5.6 (zoomed all the way out at F/5.6), @ 1/250 sec, ISO 3200 and Auto White Balance. Some PP in Picasa (color boost, fill light)

I really like #1. did you use HDR on these, if so it's really, really nicely done. One of the best uses of HDR I've seen in a while.

Thank you! No, I just used Topaz and PSE10. I took the pic with my cell phone! Unbelievable huh??? Imagine my surprise when I saw how it ended up looking! LOL

Just goes to show you...it's NOT the equipment that creates an amazing image.

Do you realize it took longer to pick out and name their dog than it did to jam this thing down our throats?

Sorry this has put a bee in my bonnet, I don't take to stealing someone's work very lightly.

Almost makes me wish my pictures were worth stealing!

I just finished emailing Rahi Jaber Dash (mylaphotograhy.com), she did confirm that it is HER self-portrait (which we already knew).

I did send her the link to the image posted here.

Mom with a camera -- aka Adrian Monk (famous detective from the TV series). Nice work MWAC.

And so the train rolls on...

Let's crucify Sinatra and forget reality, after all his beliefs are worth destroying, right?

What are the real reasons for this sustained, unjustified attack against him?

Can one explain it? I personally do not like the guy as he seems off balance but is this justified at all?

Is UHH so mob driven that individuals cannot think and behave like normal sensible folks? Is old age responsible for the insanity displayed here? Is plain ignorance a factor?

Is this post meant as an insult to those bouncing up and down on Sinatra? YES.
