Toured a butterfly house in Tampa, FL once. Unfortunately didn't have a closeup lens.
Would like to see a description of your technique.
Good choice joining this group. Some great stuff posted here and info and advice just unbelieveable.
I like reflections in shots like this.
I was stationed at Hickam in the early 60s, but must have missed this one.
Welcome. Folks here enjoy seeing the efforts of others.
Looks more like a classic thing-a-ma-jig to me.
It is a classic thing-a-ma -jig. Simple.
Is this the famous cyprus that has been zhot a zillion times? Nice.
Hard to top wild life in their natural habitat. Nice shots.
Gorillas are probably my favorite animal. Must have been a great experience getting that close.
I own a Pentax Spotmatic with 1.4 Takumar, purchased in Viet Nam in 1967. Took tons of shots eith that besuty ungil moving to digital in mid-90s. Great combo. Shot mostly slides for many years, then lost most of the slides (most of my stuff from VN) and most of my prints to a leaking water heater. Haven't stored anything of value on the floor since.
I owned a couple GCs and they all had a pull shade over the space behind the rear seat. Offers protection from prying eyes.
