Day-Ohh! Note that if you use UHH's "quote reply" option when responding, people will have a clearer idea of who you are responding to. Just a suggestion.

Perhaps he was thanking all the responders.

When the first claims of weapons of mass destruction (babble-speak for nuclear and chemical weapons) I reminded myself of a Physics Today article summarizing the United Nations surveys in Iraq just after the close of Operation Desert Storm of the Persian Gulf War (Aug 1990 - Feb 1991) during George H W Bush's term as 41st President. The article was detailed and showed the Iraq nuclear status was weak but existant. With respect to 235/238 enrichment Iraq possesed one face of an electromagnetic pole face with a second on order from an unnamed European country. That order was shut down quietly. So Iraq had no enrichment capability and further no breeder reactor so Plutonium was not possible and goes without saying that a thermonuclear hydrogen weapon was out of the question. The article did not deal with the chemical weapon inspection conclusions.

It is my opinion that when the definitive histories are written we will realize that George W Bush was very poorly informed about Iraq and was not in a position of learning from other sources. As Molly Ivins noted in her book "Shrub" about G W Bush's political life that Bush almost never read anything and was a mediocre student in his school days. But as President, as Harry Truman said, "the buck stops here"

The forces behind the current Iraq/Syria unrest are of centuries age - the Sunni/S**te hatreds are of long history. I think it took strong dictatorships to keep the 'cork in" so when Saddam was deposed the 'cork' was out. Will ISIL be the last? - Likely not.

Thank you. What's the point of having a discussion forum when you are told you should have done all your research on other sites. I don't get it

When some grump about others posts, I just sort of figure the grumper's morning corn flakes went down crooked and then belch.

I don't quite understand your question John, do you mean,
did they pose for me or did I draw them freehand? If it is
the latter, I sat down with drawing paper on my lap, ball
point pen in one hand and paper towel in the other and drew stroke by stroke until done 8 to 12 hrs. later. It was
very tedious but I loved it.

I didn't mean "posed," but I guess it was taken that way. I just wondered if were in place to see him, like a concert or something. Or might it have been from a picture. One would be historical and have a story.

If you drew these live, then you should tease all the details from your memory and document them. Often, the story about a drawing adds an historic dimension of value. You have a skill that needs to be told.

Whether you opt for two polarizer sizes or one size plus step-up ring, you end up with two things in the kit bag. Then you have two remember when switching lenses. Only you know what works for yourself.

It is an annual rumor put out to convince seniors to bypass, get bad flu and die and get off Social Security and Medicare. It is a Republican ploy.

One factor that needs evaluation is the nature of the inks. Before Epson came out with 'archival' inks, the then inkjet inks were subject to fading. I haven't kept up on the ink technology for quite a few years, so have no knowledge whether the 'organic' inks have improved or not. I am currently using an Epson Workforce 4 with a C86 as backup (need inks for it though).

Given that you have a huge load of images, have you thought of using a relational database. I use FileMakerPro. After you get the hang of how they work, it would be a breeze.

When your dream lense comes right away about any size Brown Truck instead of next week or month by snail parcel post, isn't that not worth the few bucks of gas surcharge.
