Yep, Voss just "shot" her.

We can only speculate about the "tension". It could have been serious or just trivial. What draws my attention and sympathy is that woman on the left who has obviously had a hard life. Excellent work.

I won't give my details of my latest annoyance except to say that it took from March 25 to April 4 for a package to make it from Kansas City Kansas to my place in St Joseph Mo. about 80 miles. I also am waiting for a package that was sent from Wisconsin on March 20th. We have a Republican Congressman here in St Joseph and a Democratic one in Kansas City. I doubt if they agree on much of anything, but they have joined together to look into the mail service in our area.

It's funny how some people can't take a compliment. In one of my groups, there is a woman in her 70s who is very attractive, despite not wearing makeup or doing anything with her hair. Being the thoughtful gentleman that I am, I thought I would pay her a compliment.

"You know, Pam, despite the fact that you're probably pushing 80, you're still a rather attractive woman. Although you seem to be letting yourself go, never wearing any makeup and not doing anything with your hair, just letting it run wild, you're still rather nice to look at."

I expected a big smile, but she made an ugly face and stormed away. Some people just can't take a compliment.

Jerry that's right up there with "You don't sweat much for a fat gal" You're lucky to still be with us.

Simply keep migrating them to the "latest" storage media.......

Simply keep migrating them to the latest storage media is handy if you know how to do that. There are innumerable folks whose images get no farther than the back of their camera or smart phone. These images and the ones on SD cards in drawers are destined to be digital dust.

But the digital data is something you can preserve forever not the slides nor the prints.
You can write the data down on a piece of paper (a big piece of paper) and then the image can be reconstructed exactly as it is.

yeah, I have been in a lot of second hand stores and thrift shops and while I have seen a lot of boxes of old photographs I have never seen a box of cds, SD cards, labeled "family photos" or the "data" written down on a piece of paper to be reconstructed exactly. More likely not at all.

First, are the films yours? Should you process them if you think they belonged to other members of the family that are now deceased? Do you really want to see your parents doing...

If they're "doing something" who is holding the camera? While I can't answer for you, I don't think most of us are concerned about seeing something untoward. Actually in a great majority of the cases, I suspect most of the images would be mundane images of folks we know. Still I think they would be well worth developing. Here is another thought, there are all sorts of Youtube videos on this subject. I would google Old exposed unprocessed film and see what I found.
