Too many people think that separation of church and state means that religion should not be in government in any way, shape, or form. Not True. The real meaning of separation of church and state is that the government cannot name any one religion as a religion of the country no national religion is allowed.
First and foremost I will ask a question. If you saw a fantasy-like occurrence and you had numerous eye witnesses besides yourself and you wrote a book about the occurrence, would you expect people to believe what you wrote?? That is exactly what the apostles, New Testament writers of the Bible, did and I think they would expect everyone to believe what they wrote. There are over 5,000 hand-written manuscripts confirming the contents of the Bible. There were approximately 400 different writers, not all living at the same time, of the Bible's manuscripts written over a long period of time and all in agreement. Simply amazing! No other book in the world has more than one or two manuscripts, most written by one or two persons, working together on a book.
Ridiculous Christian laws?? If we delete the Bible from our lives, we delete most of the moral laws such as: Honor your father and mother, You shall not k**l, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness against you neighbor, You shall not covet your neighbors house, etc. We would have utter chaos. Those laws all have Biblical origins. We can already see some of the effects of not abiding by those laws. People k*****g people, sexual harassment and abuse, committing adultery, and stealing, all running rampant, people falsely accusing their neighbors, and on and on. Children are not taught nor held accountable to honor their father and mother any more a great percentage of children don't even have both a father and a mother anymore. Parents aren't even married to each other anymore. When the going gets a little tough, they selfishly don't reconcile. They just get up and walk away. The children run wild, stealing, k*****g, committing adultery, and telling lies, not knowing what to do or how to act. Morals are the furthest from their minds. Their parent or parents have not taught them anything. Maybe, just maybe, if people turned from their wicked ways and lived by Biblical standards, this wonderful country of the United States would be a little better country, and still free.
I hear people discussing their rights a lot. Most of the rights they talk about are guaranteed by the government. If the government doesn't abide by the documents set forth by our forefathers those rights will go away. There is one right that everyone has. It is a God-given right to choose between living a spiritually correct (Biblical) life to gain the promised eternal life or living their own selfish way to gain the promised eternal lake of fire. No one can take that right away, not even the government. You are born with that right and you can make your own decision as it is written in the Bible. I think you can tell what my decision is. Believe what you want at your own risk. You will be held accountable.
If we don't get this country together, we just might wake up one day with our form of government gone and a national religion we won't like even a little bit.
Don't even think that it can't happen in America. Anything can happen. It has already began to a degree.
Enough said! Have a GREAT DAY!
To all responders so far. I tend to agree with so... (

Thank you for your well written and accurate statement pixbyjnjphotos. I agree with you. I believe in the power of prayer because I have seen it work in more than one occasion. We need to pray for our country and our politicians much like they did in Great Britain near the end of WWII. We also need to v**e in great numbers to show our combined strength. As our rights slowly erode away, we can turn the tide and bring them back.
