1969 I had just graduated from pharmacy college worked as assistant store manager for Arnold drugs in Warren MI making about $10 an hour. Sold my 64 Mustang convertible (paid $3600 in 64) and bought a Pontiac GTO tri-carb. Had to change plugs after 5000 miles, wasn't pushing the car fast enough. The GTO came with a sample 8-track taper, wow, my own music! A few years later I bought a Minolta SLR 101.
Great Hi-key photography and fine model. Congrats!
Look at a 16x20 matted print from a lab, you will think twice about $25.
D7500 !!! Ive had 7000 & now 7500 1: articulating screen great, can put camera at ground level and tilt screen to you 2: touch screen for menu Enough said to make a choice.
Just got back from bus tour (Sedona, GC, Monument Valleym, Page, BRyce and Zion. I am 75 an knee flaired up, long plane ride, 1200 miles on bus. Only used D7500 & 18-200 nikon. Have D810, 24-105 and 14 mm Rokinor, filters, etc. I never took out of back pack and back pack was to heavy to carry. ALTITUDE makes a differance. Just take sonething in 24-200 range and enjoy more. Zion was the best! Didnt get the WOW pictures I had planned but enjoyed.
Dont leave on seat with windows up or down it will be gone.
Put in trunk or out of sight. Leave nothing in sight that would be worth breaking in to get.
I have D7500 and was going to rent D810 for western parks tour in spring. I bought a D810 and sure glad I didnt rent it for a vacation week. There is a learning curve with any camera. I would have made a big mistake to rent for a trip. Have had it for a month and just now comfortable with it.
Sold D7000 and purchased D7500 used ebay (3500 clicks $750) USA
I prefer 2 card slots but the 7500 has an articulating rear screen which also is a touch screen.
I can flip thru pictures or menu controls with a brush of my finger. Till learning new items. I use 7500 with 18-200 lens for walk around. Also bought D810 used for landscape portraits. I am relieved of my GAS.

Mine is being delevered Friday. I got a loaner from Tamron for the night from Florida Camera Club Council convention. I had read a lot about the lens. I was able to handhold for several shots propped on a table.
I was surprised by the VC - it locked on the subject quite well. I have a Chinese gimbal head that I reworked for the lens. Reports I have seen on youtube often rate it better than the brand. Take what you save and go on a photo trip. Since I was at a photo convention I got a better price break from Hunt's Photo and a $50 mail in rebate from Tamron. I have read the lens is sharper at 500mm than 600mm, I did not see it in my short use.
Great detour. On #1 I see ghosting on both sides of phone poles on download and quite apparent if I click the + to enlarge. I see same on #2 fence posts to less degree. #4 is unsharp on download.
#1 & #2 may be in post process I don't know. #4 may be limit of equiptment ? Otherwise good subject and comp.

They are factory authorized repair. He said they repair what is needed to get camera working.
Nikon itself will go through camera and you will end up with $400 to $500 bill. He will do what service you request and usually cheaper. Anyone else used their service?
Try your telephone's camera. I use it for ebay etc.
Perhaps pictures would help, sorry.
Great subject/pics. I like #1 best because of clouds as others have said. #3 I like the framing but on my monitor the trees appear to dark and the black areas creaping into the frame detract from the subject, the light house. Well done.
