Thank you Mike. ... And be careful what ya wish for! I have quite a lot in my collection haha! But you have given me an idea about a photo project I could do, featuring a photo of each of my pieces! My family has always teased me about my rock obsession, but I am finding out that there are LOTS of fellow rock hounds out there. Thanks for your nice comment!

I agree that they are fascinating to watch and i think the webs can be very beautiful.... But I would rather not have them hanging around my house! Haha!

Thanks Bud! There were so many people at the show that it was hard to get to creative with the shots. Used my Canon Nifty 50, just snapped away and then took my time editing. ;) Thanks for your nice comments!

Awww thank you, Tim! I have quite a rock collection now ... I will keep in mind that you enjoy the rock/gem photos and post some photos of my personal collection sometime!!

Nothing better than combining BOTH my hobbies at the same time!! Grabbed some snapshots at the rock and gem show I went to this past weekend. Could have taken more photos but I got distracted by all the sparkly pieces and had to concentrate on my purchases!! Thanks for viewing!

Thanks! I definately want to try more night time photography as this trip didnt go as planned. As for the Northern lights ... I will have to travel much farther the next time as this was a very rare opportunity to have them visible in Iowa. I just wasnt North enough this time!
