In the fire service, we run a lot of animal/ice rescue calls. It has nothing to do with saving the animal, it's to keep the public from trying to effect a rescue.
I was personally involved with a rescue turned recovery incident involving someone trying to help a stranded deer.
Sad story and probably tough to witness.
It's a nice upgrade from the 20 to be sure.

Early morning and CP will be your friend. Oh, and the beach can be like snow, causing underexposure. Exposure for the sky or EC (probably just +1 but experiment).
I have to agree with liking the original better. Probably because the sky draws too much attention. Regardless, nice photo and nice PP'ing.
His videos are always entertaining and instructive.
