Great shot.

That looks like a “hot biscuit” to me. Okay, so my urge to provide unsolicited humor has overwhelmed me, so I’ll explain.

My sister-in-law has a much-deserved reputation for being a plant killer. No one knows why, she didn’t inherit it from her mother, who could plant a broomstick and it would grow leaves.

However, she saw a Hibiscus in the garden section of HEB and decided to plant it outside her kitchen window, which happens to face the street. She has a nosey neighbor who is always telling people how to run their lives, and he seldom knows what he is talking about. He saw her planting and he couldn’t help himself. He tells her that the “Hot Biscuit” she is planting won’t grow in that location and that she was wasting her time. My sister-in-law doesn’t mind taking advice, but the condescending attitude of the neighbor just rubbed her the wrong way, plus he didn’t even know the correct name.

She made a vow to herself that if in fact, the plant was dying, she would buy another just like it and plant it in the dead of night so the neighbor would never know. Surprisingly, despite her reputation and the location of the plant, it lasted for a couple of years, until the “winter of the century” brought snow and three days of freezing temps.

Whether she made good on her vow, or it is the one plant that managed to elude her curse, we don’t know. She isn’t talking, and the nosey neighbor has never come by to admire her hot biscuit growing like it was meant to be.

If it was a
Smudge, wouldn’t it be on all images. This appears to me to be a twig or branch.

all good but the last one I totally disagree with. To the best of my knowledge bacon only comes in one flavor. And if it is not a lifetime commitment for some pig then it ain't bacon

Nope ... there is Turkey bacon. Denny's serves it.

@BenuLama

I am answering your question so we can put this thread to bed. Yes, I think you will be in trouble if you post your sign. The ATF, IRS, FBI will show up at your house at 5:30 in the morning with an assault team and kick in your doors, after whispering “police” so low, even your noisy neighbor with the big ears can’t hear them.

They will haul you outside, still in your night clothes, handcuff you and sit you on the wet grass while they ransacked your house looking for the tools you used to make signs.

At the end they will kiss your wife, physically assault your dog and then take you to jail, where you will stay for two years without benefit of a lawyer or any constitutional protections. When you complain, they will cite the Patriot Sign Act.

Now, you have your answer so let’s shut this thread down and go home. All except for you of course.

I really just want to post the sign.

So, what is stopping you? You apparently are not paying attention to what we have collectively told you. No one here (unless they are an attorney in your area) can give you advice about posting the sign, at least legal advice. I'm beginning to wonder about your insistence on us approving your posting of the sign. No one here wants to be a co-defendant if your actions are wrong, and we have stated what is the proper way to solve your problem.

I'd say do what you want to do.

My question is strictly a legal question. Do I violate any law by posting such a sign. I know the sign is in my house and the water isn't dangerous but do I violating any law by posting such a sign? That's the question.
I am not pulling anybody leg.

Sigh! And, I have already responded that we are not lawyers and that you need someone with a law degree living in your state to answer that. Anything less is simply an opinion and not an answer to a legal question. But you really didn't need me to tell you that ... at least, I wouldn't think.

@BebuLamar - It is obvious, at this point, that your question was not serious. You have received many suggestions based on your original post, ranging from reasonable to inflammatory. While satisfying, I don't recommend the inflammatory, however, the other suggestions are meant to guide you through this so-called dilemma. Yet, based on your responses, I'm not convinced you were ever serious and I'm beginning to believe you have been pulling our chain, therefore, this whole thread has been a complete waste of our time which we could have applied to helping someone else. That a grown man with even an iota of life experience couldn't have figured this out without our involvement, is a mystery. Yet, the real tragedy is any of your future requests for help will be viewed through the lens of this thread, and you may not get the help you need when you really need it. You know the story about the boy hollering Wolf.

Okay, I think I understand. What you are asking for is a legal opinion which none of us are qualified to give (unless you have a law degree). You need to contact a lawyer. It may only cost you around $300 to get an opinion. Of course, the suggestions we are giving are mostly correct and free, but we can't represent you in court if some legal liability is incurred after you post the sign.

I only want to know if I get into trouble for posting the sign. I don't care if she steal the water. I don't want to talk to her. No it's not well water. It's cit water and she does it because she doesn't have a faucet near where she needs to water the lawn.

Perhaps it is my fault for not understanding, but if you don't care if she uses your water, then why are you posting a sign? What purpose will the sign accomplish?
