(quote)"Move over, Godzilla! The Nikon Z8 is demolishing Japan's sales rankings – it's the best-seller at every major camera store.
The Nikon Z8 is off to a great start, ranking first at all five major camera stores. It's amazing that the Z8 is ranked first not only at camera stores with high-end models such as Yodobashi, Map Camera, and Fujiya Camera, but also at Bic and Kitamura, which have relatively low-priced models."
Cheers

If you don't need the ultra-fast frame rate or video capabilities the Z7 produces identical image quality for stills.

Who cares?
Well certainly not any Canon fanboys like you, LOL.
But loads of photographers and ALL the camera makers that are in the business to sell cameras around the world do care.
Cheers and best to you.

We really don't need town criers.

My thought: I don't need (or desire) it.

But thaz his primary "skill" as an official edumacator. Just be thankful youre not one of his "state university photography students". (Lack of disclosure suggests North Dakota State U.)
It seems to be a great camera but I'll stick with my D850. It may not be the latest and greatest anymore but it sure takes wonderful images. And it's paid for.

I'm glad it's doing well. It appears to finally be an attainable camera with the professional interface. I hope to eventually have one, just not right now. If it is successful, there's a good chance it will still be available when I'm ready.
Good for Nikon. Makes no different to me although I am a Nikon fan boy.
As far as I am concerned Nikon no longer makes cameras.
