And loose..... you make an interesting point. But capturing that One Cow among the many who's folded up into a lotus position is difficult. It almost as difficult as capturing one (or more) of them levitating beatifically. Cows NEVER do those sorts of things when people are around, especially people with cameras. Gary Larson proved that. But he was a cartoonist, so.... just sayin'...........

Gary Larson truly understood the souls of cows.

In Sevenmile Canyon. So, where are the cows, you may ask? They were there, but they chose to congregate in places that were dark and unappealing. Besides, cottonwood trees at the peak of their fall color in late afternoon light are far more enlightening subjects.

I dunno, enlightened cows would be pretty interesting. Just sayin'.

Nice--the tacked horse, ready to go, makes the scene, I think.

I agree. It's a beautiful, well composed picture that captures the feel of that area. Nice job.

Well done. If I may add a little advice I would have moved the lens a little lower on the bird so the rest of the reflection could be seen. But, still it's a nice shot.

I agree, though it's possible there was something in the way down there. Nice shot.
