So sorry to hear this. I always enjoyed Earl’s photos. Cancer, such a hard way to go. Prayers for comfort to his family and friends.

I like these, though I think the truck cabs are the best. Besides that sort of thing appeals to me.

I just received a canon Rebel t7i DSLR, this is my DSLR, and am trying to find out what macro lens will give me what I want. I’m looking to capture the teenie tiny world of insects, flowers, water droplets, and spider webs. The canon ef 100mm f/2.8 L is usm macro lens has been suggested to me. Also the brands Sigma & Tamron have been mentioned. Help...LoL

I have the Canon 77D essentially the same as your t7i. I recommend this EF-s 35mm f2.8 is stm macro. It is true 1-1 ratio macro and has a build in led light for lighting very close macro photography. This lens is nice and lite on my 77D so should be the same on the t7i. Focus distance is very close hence the reason for the built in light. It is a crop lens and should work perfectly on your crop camera. I also have the EF 100mm L is usm macro the price is at the level of a regular consumer lens this lens is very sharp, but it is also long. you can look at both at this link. https://shop.usa.canon.com/shop/en/catalog/ef-s-35mm-f28-macro-is-stm-lens

Welcome, Bruno. Not sure I can answer your question, I haven’t tried the sky replacement yet. I’m planing to use my own sky photos when the need arises.

I got a new computer and I took the HDD out of the older one and put it in an enclosure. I had some edited jpegs in a folder on the desktop of the older computer. Is there any way I can copy them to one of my 4 TB external drives?

Select the images or folders by holding down the shift key and clicking the desired selections, when the selections are hi-lighted let go of the shift key and hold down the control key (windows) command key Apple and the “c” key for copy. Then select the desired destination by clicking on it, and hold command, or control “v” for paste. Hopes this helps.

U R right about the light. The original pic was shot at about noon or 1PM in November, which would put the sun at about the 2 o'clock position - somewhat to the right of the image. Thx for the comment.

You are a good sport sir. Thanks for your post. I also have Luminar 4 and am impressed with some of the editing tools. I was skeptical about the sky replacement at first but eventually was convinced that it could be a very useful tool especially if you use your own sky and if that sky is from the same location at a time when the original photo was taken. It certainly cant hurt to have a library of your own sky photos just in case.

Canon EF-s 17-55mm 2.8 is usm used on my t3i, and now currently on my 77d. This lens is very sharp but is also heavy. (Helps keep me in shape 🤓.)
