Interested in taking some night shots of this bridge. Can anyone provide information pertaining to a good vantage point in the city to do this? Thx!

OK guys, point made and made again! Obviously I have processed these further than most prefer. No need to beat this dead horse any further. Thank you very much for your comments!

In shot #6, is that a road or trail on the extreme right?

Thank you Geezer!

Not sure what you are referring to? It is river bank at water level. The Palouse Falls State Park is at the top of the cliff/ridge, so likely you are seeing the walking trail.

Hope that answers your question.

I was about to ask you all if you processed your individual HDR/Panoramic images before or after merging when I came across the following (see second and third blog posting). I found it very informational and am providing as I am sure others with the same questions on their mind will.

I too was going to suggest you cross your shoulder bag straps over your head to the opposite shoulder if long enough.

You may want to check out this puppy. Cannot beat the utility it provides for the price. I have been using it for years.

At the end of May, my wife and I are traveling to Utah (Arches and Canyonlands Nat'l Parks) and then to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone.

Although you do not mention it, surely you are going to take the scenic Grand Tetons loop drive, correct? A must see while there.

Heading to Portland, looking for photo op ideas. Thanks for sharing...

If you could clarify which Portland, what types of things you like to photograph, how much time you have and how far you are willing to travel, that would help tremendously.

Many like the cable bridge over the Columbia.

Thanks for the info MtnMan. Can you recommend/describe the best location for taking a night shot of the Cable Bridge?

Just finished a couple days photographing Palouse Falls, heading towards home (Vancouver, WA) with a couple of short layovers in the Tri-Cities/Kennewick WA area and Hermiston OR.

Anyone familiar with these areas who would like to provide photo op suggestions, I am all ears. Thanks in advance!

PS - I have shot all the Columbia Gorge falls, so no need to suggest those. Mainly just focusing on the two mentioned areas. Thx!

I am selling my "like new" low shutter count Canon 60D with BG-E9 battery grip, remote shutter cable, and extras that falls within your indicated price range. It would be an excellent beginner DSLR.

PM me if any interest.
