Just finished a couple days photographing Palouse Falls, heading towards home (Vancouver, WA) with a couple of short layovers in the Tri-Cities/Kennewick WA area and Hermiston OR.
Anyone familiar with these areas who would like to provide photo op suggestions, I am all ears. Thanks in advance!
PS - I have shot all the Columbia Gorge falls, so no need to suggest those. Mainly just focusing on the two mentioned areas. Thx!

If you can arrange to be there during the hydroplane races...
Rattlesnake mountain is a favorite of many. Along the Yakima is best.
Toppenish has some very cool painted buildings. There are some interesting tree farms off the interstate as you go there.
Many like the cable bridge over the Columbia.
Some like Ice Harbor dam and locks on the Snake River.
Some good waterfowl in the Columbia. Walk the park in Richland.
In Hermiston you pretty much need to like melons.
You never ever have shot everything in a particular area. Different shot can be taken, depending on the season, time of day, weather, and what you are looking for.

Thanks for the info MtnMan. Can you recommend/describe the best location for taking a night shot of the Cable Bridge?
Wallula gap, East of the tricycles (Pasco, Kennewick, Richland) on the mighty Columbia.
Many awesome hikes on the 14. Wallowa's are awesome if you are so inclined to make a bit of another road trip. And of course Yakima valley
