I was about to ask you all if you processed your individual HDR/Panoramic images before or after merging when I came across the following (see second and third blog posting). I found it very informational and am providing as I am sure others with the same questions on their mind will.

Lazy J thanks for sharing this. Merging sequence has always been a question for me. I have seen other tour Priola that recommends the middle image be treated with global edits (wb, etc) and those be sync'd to the other images before merging. Then the detail edits be done to the merged file. I also appreciate the first blog on catalog merging after a location shoot. Thanks again.

http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/page/1?s=lightroom+mergeUsing LR or ACR, it makes little difference, other than applying a lens profile. The tail end of the merging process results in a dng, which can be processed exactly like a raw file.
