Doesn't seem likely to me that it would be metering or bracketing if both exposures show the same EXIF data, as that would indicate identical exposure.
The camera that changed my mind! Back in the late 80's I was happily shooting a Nikon F2 and didn't believe in auto-exposure, auto-focus, and automation in general. A friend of my wife's had bought this combo new for a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and decided after the trip that she wasn't that interested in photography, and asked me to sell it for her. I decided to put a roll of film through it so I would know a little of what I was talking about when I listed it. Big mistake! I got the film back and was happily pleased with the number of keepers and the meters capability even in backlit situations! The old Sigma 28-70 sounds like an M1 Abrams tank re-targeting while it achieves focus, and there is only 1 focus point, in the center, but the whole arrangement works great. The flash even zooms along with the lens! The camera has the standard PSAM modes plus scene modes. I put a new battery in a few months back and shot a roll just to make sure there were no light leaks and everything worked. It comes with the Canon 300EZ flash. I hope someone who is interested in trying film can use it. $75 plus shipping for everything, or shoot me an offer. Paypal or checks, but I'll wait for the check to clear before shipping.
Thanks for looking.
Tripod ring for Panasonic 100-300 f4.0-5.6 II. This is custom made by some guy in Germany and they take about 60 days to get when you order them. Beautiful workmanship, and as you can see it is custom built for this lens. I traded off the lens and now don't have a use for this, so $45 plus shipping or send me an offer, it was over $100 new. Paypal or check, but I'll wait for the check to clear before mailing. Please see pictures. Tripod ring only, the lens is gone.
Thanks for looking.
I worked around this by picking up a cheap "dumb adapter" and using it instead of the FTZ. The dumb adapter has no contacts to pass lens information, which means you'll lose autofocus.
A lot of people seem to think that CHG_Canon's remark is a taunt against Nikon, but it's factual in that Nikon is the one brand who will not repair gray market gear at any price. Most other makes will repair gray market gear but charge you even if it is under warranty.
I'm wondering what all this BS has to do with cameras.
Noticed it after I posted and tried to delete my post. Evidently even though I went to edit the post and deleted the content, UHH did not take the update.
If I remember right the D90 will only work in manual exposure with non-chipped lenses.
I've gotten better quotes through MPB than the others, but I know KEH is good too.
