Canon EOS 630 film camera and Sigma lens. Sold
The camera that changed my mind! Back in the late 80's I was happily shooting a Nikon F2 and didn't believe in auto-exposure, auto-focus, and automation in general. A friend of my wife's had bought this combo new for a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and decided after the trip that she wasn't that interested in photography, and asked me to sell it for her. I decided to put a roll of film through it so I would know a little of what I was talking about when I listed it. Big mistake! I got the film back and was happily pleased with the number of keepers and the meters capability even in backlit situations! The old Sigma 28-70 sounds like an M1 Abrams tank re-targeting while it achieves focus, and there is only 1 focus point, in the center, but the whole arrangement works great. The flash even zooms along with the lens! The camera has the standard PSAM modes plus scene modes. I put a new battery in a few months back and shot a roll just to make sure there were no light leaks and everything worked. It comes with the Canon 300EZ flash. I hope someone who is interested in trying film can use it. $75 plus shipping for everything, or shoot me an offer. Paypal or checks, but I'll wait for the check to clear before shipping.
Thanks for looking.
My first 35 was an EOS 650. They are wonderful film cameras, I still have mine. Anyone wanting to learn, it is a great camera!
Hopefully you'll find an interested buyer. All Canon EOS DSLR shooters can seamlessly use all their EF lenses on this body. The IS-enabled lenses really expand where / how you can shoot film with these older EOS bodies.
Good Morning and sent you a message.

My first auto focus camera was the Canon EOS 620 with the 35-70 AF lens. Still have the camera and every so often I'll put a roll of film in and shoot. Been a Canon fan ever since.
