I don’t own this lens, however I have an 18mm f2.8 Soligar I inherited from my father. It creates incredible panoramic shots when I set it to hyperfocal because everything from 3’ to infinity is in focus.

I used three AC strobes (two with soft boxes and one with a beauty dish). I used a Wansen radio trigger on camera to fire the beauty dish unit, and the optical triggers on the other two units triggered them. I also shot handheld. If my memory serves me well, I shot most of the images at ISO200, f/16, 1/200.

You are all making me very nervous. I am scheduled to have my very first colonoscopy in February, and this post did not help one bit.

I have several old Nikkor lenses, a 50 mm f1:1.8, a 35-13mm f1:3.5-4.5, and a 70-300mm f1:4.5-5 I used on my N8008. Nikon’s lens compatibility chart indicates they are fully compatible with many Nikon digital cameras suggesting they mount and the auto focus works properly. I’m considering a D7500 or D750. Has anyone had experience using these older lenses on new DSLRs. I know they are heavier than the newer lenses but would like to know if there are any other drawback such as image quality. Has anyone actually used them on newer DSLRs (i.e., D7200, D7500, D750)? Thanks for your help.

I have a D610 and a N8008 that I inherited from my father. I have used his Nikkor f1:1.4, and his Nukkor Af 35-105 on my D610 with no problems whatsoever.

js, what's interesting is that tattoo culture in this country started mostly with guys in the military. Granted, they were some ugly ass tattoos! Now that tattoos have evolved into some of the most beautiful art I've ever seen, those same military guys that felt so avant garde when they were young, are now the most conservative of the conservative, so much so that they cannot accept social change!!! Maybe it's a control thing and they can't control the young so instead need to belittle them?!

I don’t care, but some of the comments about the photos I have posted here seem to care, but I agree with you SS.

I honestly have really enjoyed your photos of Liz. I think that photos of nude mature women are much more beautiful and sexier than their younger counterparts. The work you have done with Liz is amazing.

I have photographed women both with and without tattoos. As far as I am concerned, Ido not prefer one or the other, but the ladies who choose to be inked need to realize that as they age, their tattoos will change, and sometimes these changes are not for the better.

Grace, I recently tried both the new Tamron 100-400 and 150-600 at an outing Tamron held with our local camera shop at a wildlife park near my home. The image of the turkey was shot with the 100-400, and the image of the fawn was shot with the 100-600. Both were hand held, and although the 166-400 is lighter than the 150-600, it is still quite heavy.

That is a great shot Markie, but I'm a bit confused. I graduated from high school in 1966, and we had our 50th reunion two years ago in 2016.

We have the same situation here in central Illinois. The lots that used to be filled with new Mitsubishi automobiles at their now closed factory in Normal, Illinois, are mow filled with these same unsellable automobiles.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a mail-in company that prints photos on canvas? I have used "Canvas Discounts" but their colors sometimes look faded. Thank you for any suggestions.

Believe it or not, I have had excellent results at Costco.
