My wife and I have been to Jamaica half a dozen times (beginning with our honeymoon more than 47 years ago) and are returning in April. I do recommend to inquire at the tour/excursion desk on your ship for planned trips or guides that they have used and recommend. I do not recommend just picking someone dockside for this for both security and timeliness reasons.

One nice excursion close to Falmouth is a raft trip on the Martha Brae river. This is a very tranquil trip and the raft captains are very knowledgeable of the many trees and other vegetation you will pass. Check it out on line at https://www.jamaicarafting.com.

Bill, the WD SSD actually comes in capacities from 250GB to the 2TB version - check the price on that monster!

Mirror lenses are just not worth the investment. The DOF is something like 1/8th of an inch, so forget using it handheld. The circular bokeh is nice though.

Was your comment about bokeh tongue-in-cheek? I find the doughnut shaped bokeh to be one of the downsides to my mirror lens and need to take it into consideration when composing with it.

Very nice images Mike. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing use of copper. I've never seen a Rolls or any other brass era car (other than a couple of steamers) in such metalwork before and according to the placard, it is a one off. I wouldn't want the job of keeping it looking this way. Could you tell if there was anything protective over the bare metal?

Here is a GREAT example of a scripted and well-edited video (2,893,919 views) that wastes little time, and is nothing but pure, detailed, clear instruction:

I hate to quibble, but the time he spent on telling you how much he paid for the car, what shape it was in, and how he came to own it has nothing to do with the stated purpose of the video - how to replace the battery pack.

Matt K. did ramble in his video on the new "Detail Enhancement" feature, but that would seem to reflect more on his opinion of its' usefulness than on his normal delivery style.

Good that it works on your machine. Mine not! And, I'm not alone if you look at an Adobe forum! https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2594466

Yes, it seems they have unleashed a not ready for prime time feature - at least for those who aren't running the latest hardware.

I put together a new machine in January and everything is very snappy, except for using the Shake Reduction option in the Sharpen Filter in Photoshop. That takes forever to render - to the point I think there must be a Performance setting that I have configured wrong. I hope Adobe finds and fixes the Enhance Details problem quickly, although to be honest, you're not missing much.

My video card is about 5 years old. I updated the driver and it has the 4GB. Still doesn't work.

MMatt Kloskowski did a YouTube demonstration. Even if it worked well, I don't think I would ever use it!

I was a little surprised that Matt seemed so negative about it. I have tried it on a couple of images and I see a very small, but noticeable improvement when the image is tightly cropped. It certainly won't be part of my normal workflow, but for the few images that are really cropped, or printed large (or both) every little bit of help is appreciated. Note also that it will not work on tiff images.

As for potential performance issues, I have an i7 9700K and an overclocked Nvidia GTX1060 with 6GB of memory. LR estimated ~9 seconds to create the enhanced dng file, but it only seemed to take half that time.

We were there at the end of September and it was part of the day and a half of rain that we experienced. The other seven days it was nice and sunny. Truly beautiful scenery throughout, but especially the cliffs, the Burren and the Ring of Kerry. And we fully agree about the friendliness of the people.

I have the latest Windows 10 version and just downloaded the LR & PS updates. In LR, you go to the Photo menu and select Enhance Details. A window will open that allows you to compare what the Enhanced version will look like vs. the original. If you choose to Enhance, LR creates a dng file with "enhanced" tagged onto the file name next to the original file. Using the Compare View, I see a slight improvement in details and very slight enrichment in color reproduction.

Disagree completely. I've only ever disputed two transactions on eBay and got a prompt and courteous refund on both occasions. Vetting the seller helps, of course, but eBay and PayPal back up the transactions. In fact, I am a little reluctant to sell on eBay because they seem to bend over backwards on behalf of the buyer.

This has been my experience as well. On the other hand, I doubt that the OP can expect to get anything more out of this than the bid money and any shipping cost being returned.

Used crop/aspect to straighten. It's probably not perfect but it's as straight as my shakey hand could get it!
How does it look to you?

Much better. I really like this image.
Many post production software programs have auto leveling functions that work in lots of cases. What pp did you use?

Bruce, I'm with you. I have added Auto as part of my Import on each batch of raw files. I think it does a good enough job that I can more readily decide which images to cull out and which deserve additional tweaks in LR and/or PS. The latter are my Picks that may end up in a book or printed for the wall, while the former are just deleted. Prior to Adobe's improvement of the Auto function, I had to spend more time just in the culling stage.

Both links worked for me.
Illustration shows 2GB max. No idea why the small card would not work.
