Went out looking for Eagles. No luck spotting any so we settled for this amazing sunset. These were taken with a Nikon D3000 (it's old!) 55-300mm lens and a UV filter. Any and all critique's are welcome!

I really like the first one. If you could just straighten the horizon, it would be perfect.

Used crop/aspect to straighten. It's probably not perfect but it's as straight as my shakey hand could get it!
How does it look to you?

Much better. I really like this image.
Many post production software programs have auto leveling functions that work in lots of cases. What pp did you use?

Your camera might be old, but so is the sun and it still works just fine.

I usually use Picmonkey for the simple reason that everything is in layman’s terms. I have an old version of Photoshop that’s just confuses me every time! PicMonkey doesn’t support RAW format so I used the Microsoft picture editor that came with my laptop to straighten.
