Same here, I have yet to have one fail. Last time I saw something on replacing a Nikon D3s shutter it was $240 so no big deal if it would need to be replaced. Other cameras should be similar in cost. More important to me would be other external wear items like lens mounts, covers, bottom plates showing damage that would indicate being dropped or generally rough use.
