I have a D90 that was my second Nikon digital. Gave my son the first one, a D200 after he dropped the D90 into the ocean. It was and is a great camera. Does everything except give max pixles. I now have a df AND A 810 but every now and then, the D90 is just the right one to use.
I have a D200 converted to infrared and printed a 24 x 30 that is widely admired, 10.2 mp
I had a Canon underwater years ago and had a ball with it down in the Keys. Lent it my son who had some good pics but didn't make sure the O ring was seated. God I loved that camera.
I carry it on my DF and MY 810 most of the time and carry a 50 !.4 and a 105 !.8 as backup when I want them and it has worked very well all over the is country and in Paris, Florence and Naples.
I once worked in a real estate office and did most of the photos. Now I do a little as I am officially retired and it pays reasonably well. And a 12-24 is my go to lens for inside. Always turn on the lights if possible. And a bounce flash often works best.
And don't take what anyone says about the D90. I still have one along with a DF and a D800 , my granddaughter who is a very good photographer uses it and I still use it occasionally. It is a very good camera.
Try removing the battery and the scandisc. Leave out for about 30 seconds and reinsert.
My 11 yr old granddaughter used my camera last year. I explained the BBF which was different from her mother's camera and she proceeded to take some great pics with no issues.
I still break out the old film Leica and Nikon. Harder and harder to get them processed but the place I go is still in business. And when it rains and I have to take pics, I haul out the D200 which is weatherproof and still takes great pics.
And to rehash the NYTimes hater. Today there was a story in the food section bylined from Pitts, GA about cold pressed peanut oil. Very interesting to those of us who cook and doubt you would find it at Fox news.
Fantom has probably never read the paper. I do every day and it is one of the best papers for news. Stay away from the editorials if they bother you.
Cyclorama is being moved to the History center in Buckhead. I think it is still open in Grant Park but not completely sure. Not that great of a photo opp though. Boulevard has old houses, as does Jackson St. 20 is very congested. The person who said there were good shots of the city from the bridge over 20 near six flags is right. There were no fences in the way when I was there two years ago.
Oakland Cemetery has some great shots, Margaret Mitchell's grave, great views of the city, the crying lion statue, the fence outside. And don't go to Pitty Pats, it is a tourist dive, go to Mary Macs or the Colonnade which has great food even if it is a basic meat and three. And hang around Ponce de leon ave, it still looks very much as it did in the 40's and 50's, there is the Krispy Kreme that Shaq just bought, the Majestic diner, the old Sears building.
I was there and admittedly was less than my usually lucid self and I do not remember her as being there.
I used to do many weddings but that business seems to be down for me. I augment with real estate photography. I find many realtors have no concept of what a good picture is until I show them some of mine.
