# 1. The sky could be more interesting with processing. Like the glow from the Spanish Moss. Good picture.
The fence in #2 doesn't do anything for me--not interesting. Does not add to the picture. Sky is more interesting.

Hello friend,

Have had two heart surgeries in past 15 years. Several near death episodes. Your life may change a bit, good luck. Hang in there and enjoy it, and don't let the bastards get you down.

Just got out of the hospital for a heart issue which has not yet been resolved.. Operation is next !

Also, am not able to get up to locate remote hard drives to look for photos taken with 400mm lens, but can lie here in bed to enjoy photos taken by other members. Do you have any to share ?

Sony a7R, $2,098.00 at amazon
Sony 35mm F2.8 Sonnar T* FE ZA Full Frame Prime Lens, $798.00 at amazon. By Zeiss.
Both brand new with full warantee.

It's bridge, but no one will make fun of you, expecially after they see the prints.

Use the extra money for a great tripod.

These are actually pretty decent tripods, but really beg for a better head. They make a good base for a gimbal head at this price.

I bought a Manfrotto tripod and ball head this summer. Otherwise I would grab this one.

Do not set camera bag on ground behind car when packing the trunk. Nikkormat and lens can not support the weight of a car. Same for most DSLR's. It was early in the morning, dark out, and I hadn't had coffee.

That's most unfortunate because we people here in Ohio expect pollution in our water due to manufacturing, farming, and coal fired electric plants, but we've always thought of Minnesota as having pristine waters; however, being a fisherman, I'd learned many years ago that Minnesota has it's problems with heavy metal mining and not so much due to farming, yet I do realize the southern Minnesota does have it's farming lands which give off potassium sulfates from fertilization which causes algae to bloom in lakes and streams which robs water of it's oxygen ~ which isn't good for fish other than carp and rough fish.

The Ottertail is southwest of the mining area. It is in the west-central area of MN, north of the rich farm areas but there is farming throughout the state. It's a shame what we've done to this continent Columbus called Eden when he first arrived.

I get to Fergus, but I've never shot egrets there. This mill is east of Fergus, maybe a couple miles west of Ottertail Lake. It's on all the maps you can get for free from bait shops or tourist centers. Nice Place.

Probably due to run off from mining metals, eh ?

Not sure. Farm runoff, sewage? acid rain(mercury), you name it.

Like all three and also want to know if all of that oxygen in the water makes for good walleye fishing ?

There are walleye, bass, northerns, sunnies. Some are big.

There is an advisory about eating fish out of the Ottertail river. People eat em but maybe not the best.

Freaking Old Recycled Dodge

Detroit had the world by the tail in the '70's. Proceeded to build the worst cars ever built.

Why did Detroit go bankrupt? GM? Dodge (twice?) Why oh why not Ford?

Must be a moral there somewhere. Think I'll ask a banker.

Two Ford F 250 trucks. '74 4-wheel-drive needed a valve job after 12 months, and new u-joints after 2 years. '78 put in new starters several times a year, half a dozen power steering pumps, and a number of alternators. Rebuilt the carb several times and installed a hand choke so it would start and not dump gas all over everything. Had the tranny rebuilt twice. Spent a lot of time under that truck in the winter slush and ice. Found On Road Dead or Fix Or Repair Daily. Good Ford acronyms.
