Batteries Charging as we speak. Looks like I start learning all over again. Big difference operationally from my D5100!!!
maybe 2 stops under ambient and hit them with a speed light...
Thank you all for your interest and comments. I have taken some to heart an dismissed some others. It all comes down to personal preference after all. Long as the client is happy. I'm happy😄
Took this to put on her business card. Not sure i like the lighting on the right side of her hair? I can take it down in Lightroom, but she likes it. Customer is almost always right! It will be placed on the left side of the card with her first name in red on the right...
Is this better??? No Hair Light... No side Lights
Whats the verdict. Please be critical!!
What tether cable do I need to connect a D5100 to My IMAC?
3,5, or 8 pin?
Using with Lightroom... Thanks in advance...
How about an old used nikon 105. you would need to use it manually, but you wont find one much sharper. We could argue focal length all day, but it may come down to room size.
just read about the Tamron! Sounds like the ticket to me. Telephoto will even be longer with my smaller sensor. thanks for the info.
which is out of reach with my budget!
So, am I hearing take the 55-210 and buy a fast 300mm and take 2 lenses?
Of course all the touristy stuff, but I'm kind of a street guy. I enjoy finding things to shoot that most wouldn't even see. People, Reflections, Light vs. dark, etc...
Currently Nikon 5100 with
Nikon 55-210 DX VR G 1:4 - 5.6
Nikon 18-55 DX VR G 3.5 - 5.6
Nikon 40mm 2.8 DX G
All AF
Budget to 900.00
Think I'm lacking speed at the telephoto end..
We are planning a trip to Italy next year! Any comments on which lens to have on my Nikon for the entire trip? Just a camera and a lens is all i wish to carry... Any comments?
