So, what do you think?

Took this to put on her business card. Not sure i like the lighting on the right side of her hair? I can take it down in Lightroom, but she likes it. Customer is almost always right! It will be placed on the left side of the card with her first name in red on the right...

There's enough mouth. You don't say but I'm guessing she is a singer. Mike is important, if she is. The extra light is in compliance with Rembrandt Lighting Effects. Eyes too.

I think she is right about lighting the hair. Leave it.

This will make an effective business card photo. It tells a story, saving a thousand words.

Overall a good picture.
Personally, I would fix the makeup (eyelash) on the left eye - it does not match the right eye and makes the eyes look out of balance.

Lighting - when you say "right side of her hair" are you referring to her left side? That, I would leave as is - the light on her right side hair (just above the shoulder) I would tone down a bit as, to me anyway, it makes her hair look gray.

I would make the changes and offer her various options with the lighting and any other changes made and let her pick the one she likes the best.

Those are good constructive criticisms.

I have noticed that most individuals are not as observant as photographers.

I would have preferred short lighting rather than your broad lighting, but still good. Another preference would be to move the catch lights up higher and not quite so stark, perhaps softened a bit. I would also suggest the card have a black background with light colored printing.

Thank you all for your interest and comments. I have taken some to heart an dismissed some others. It all comes down to personal preference after all. Long as the client is happy. I'm happy😄
