My wife (the love of my life) and I have been married (as of last month) 68 years, My parents were married 72 years, we might make it.
I get my Internet through Spectrum (Comcast), paying for 100 Mbps. I was having problems getting more than 60 until support suggested I check my wireless speed. It was sent on 2G, will when I switched to 5G I consistently got 120Mbps.
Check your wireless speed,
On his day in 1883, Krakatoa, a small volcanic island off the west coast of Java blew up with such force it was heard 3500 miles away, killed over 3500 people on Java, sent a dust cloud around the earth for several years that dropped the temperature of the earth that caused crop failures.
Over the years a new volcano arose to take its place, it is called AnaKrakatau, meaning son of Krakatoa. In the late 90s, on our way to visit our favorite small island nearby, (that's another story) we were able to walk up the side of the volcano(because of the ash, three steps up, slide back two steps) and looked down into the crater and see sulfur vapors rising.

I recently purchased a Sleep Number bed that tells me on my smart phone, when I go to sleep, when I get up to make a bathroom run, how much sleep is restless, and the total amount of restful sleep, and total time in bed. It is wired to the Internet through Wi-Fi. It also allows me to choose the softness/hardness of the mattress through a remote.
Take a look at it, at Sleep Number.com,

My daughter lives in New Zealand where gasoline is roughly 6 dollars a gallon (they buy it by the liter), but because New Zealand is completely closed down, she figure she gets three weeks per gallon
Last week there was discussion about gasoline prices, I just received a letter from my niece in Iowa, she paid a 1.72 a gallon, today's price for regular gas here on Maui is $3.70
We are suffering here in Maui, also, it got down to 58° the other night. We have no heat in the house, it caused us to go to bed
I spent probably 100 hours in a B-17 flying out of San Francisco with the Coast Guard, doing search an rescue in 1953 in 1954. Great experience, and I collected an extra $50 per month for flying at least four hours per month, as did everybody on the base including cooks and stewards.

We had an all time low of 52° at Kahului airport yesterday
We had an all time low of 52°
How do we turn this subject off, I think it has been discussed enough, lets try to be funny as stated above.

This was yesterday's topic, but I would like to get my two cents in:
Social Security is not a benefit it, is a return on investment and it irritates me that by calling it a benefit it becomes something our "generous" government gives to us like welfare. Money I receive monthly, I invested starting 70 years ago and was mishandled badly by the government starting with Johnson.
Since congressional members do not pay into Social Security and have lifetime pensions, I would like to see all of those funds t***sferred to the Social Security account.
Convention of States that would add another amendment to our Constitution and would, among other things, accomplish that, along with term limits congressional members
