I don't know a lot about black and white but I have to tell you that when I scrolled down to the eyes, the image literally made me catch my breath. It seemed as if in that moment those beautiful eyes spoke volumes to me.
Ian and Tilde--I am very sorry to hear you are leaving UHH. I have enjoyed your pictures, your conversations and your kindness. Best wishes to you as you start your new adventure.
Thank you sharing the vignette-less picture. It is simply beautiful and it looks like it only took a little tweaking. The second picture of her on the bench is just sweet. Job well done.
This is an absolutely beautiful picture. Her eyes just draw you in. It is strange that your club focused on her eyes and forgot the theme. This proves that you can have beautiful eyes and still be cold. :-) May I ask what your camera settings were for this and how it was lit?
I agree, it is a beautiful picture but my very first thought was that the vignette took my focus away from the sweet girl. I would love to see it with no vignette, if possible.
Thanks for sharing the picture of your boxer. My Max is the most spoiled dog on earth but I wouldn't have it any other way. They are the most loving dogs.
I'd like to thank MWAC for starting and taking on the task of managing the People Photography section. It is helpful and convenient to be able to go straight to a topic that I am very interested in. There has already been some great posts with good feedback. I sure appreciate MWAC and this new section.
Great picture of Katahdin. Love the picture of the eagle--he looks to be in hard pursuit of something. I'm originally from up that--the Jct.--so it is really nice to see those familiar places. Thanks for sharing.
