I was lucky enough to find a great group of naturalists that work for my county's water authority. We have 3 or 4 reservoirs and only electric motors allowed, except theirs. Since they want to get their areas recognized as a major birding area they are willing to take me around. It was one of these trips when we caught up with this osprey and cruised along side it for 20 seconds. I will be going in January to one of the duck blinds they use for duck counts
Amazon is my preferred distributor. I am a Prime member so I get 2 day delivery at no extra charge. I look for an authorized dealer that sells through Amazon and I get 2 day delivery and no tax. The way to do this is to look at the page that comes up and then look at the other "New" suppliers. I have bought other stuff from B&H and had no problems.
I also upgraded from the 7d to the mark ii. The autofocus is awesome and the better low light performance at worth it.
I love finding both the phasmatidae and pseudophasmatidae. They strike me as being as alien as preying mantids.
I always look forward to your submissions
Beautiful shot. You captured the beauty in the detail.
I have learned to do many difficult things in my life. Capturing small birds in flight is one I hope to become skilled at.
Thank you. I am going to examine all the pictures with that description in mind.
I had both Western and Mountain Bluebirds at a water feature in my daughters yard (south of Denver)
I got a couple of lifers. There is some discussion on another site whether I have the correct id. Rufous hummer
I get metal prints from Adorama both black and white and color. They are great. I am particularly pleased with the glossy print in b&w. The shading of black to white is incredible.
While visiting my photos at the Chattahoochee Nature Center I got a couple shots in the garden. I was looking for shots I could put up at school that would attract attention by either content or color.
