My wife just returned from Rome and all of her pics came back light, I found I'm making the exact same adustment to each pic in pse 11. Is there any way to do the same adjustment to multiple pic's all at once?

Yes. On the "FILE" menu, select Process Multiple photos, then choose the setting you want on the ensuing dialog box and away you go. The help menu can walk you through the details.

Okay, I lied...he's actually a gelding but is 22 years old. I grabbed a headshot of our neighbors' new horse. Worked it in PS7 and Picasa. He is a real sweetheart.

Beautiful subject and nice job in post.

Okay ... if you had to pick just one prime lens to put in your gear bag, which lens would it be?

This lens would be used for "general" shooting - if there's such a thing. In other words, a "go to" lens.

BTW ... camera doesn't matter. I'm just looking for the mm's and f/s. :-)

I was taking a couple hours to try to get some BIF at the local arboretum, Great place for Oprey.
While on the trail near the car park a woman not quite my age noticed my camera and asked if I would take her picture with her mother. She told me her mother suffered dementia and is not "really with it".
I took a few minutes and introduced myself to her, And she lit up, So few people take time to connect with these folks. I told her my name and I was her "photographer for the day" She beamed. We placed her wheel chair near some flowers and I took a half dozen head and shoulder shots and asked her opinion on what color flowers she would like in the photo. She said yellow and blue, so we set her in front of some mixed flowers and took more pictures with her daughter and her care giver.
20 minutes invested with this dear lady and she was absolutely thrilled to have contact with someone she did not know that fawned over her and fussed over her and made her the center of attention.
Her daughter and care giver were fighting to hold back tears as they expressed their appreciation of the simple gift of a few minutes I took out of my day.

My mother in law suffered the same illness and the challenges faced by the relatives is long and difficult.
Should anyone be touched by this malady, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I felt good when I took a few minutes out of my day to try to brighten this dear heart.
As the afternoon wore on, my mother in law was back foremost in my thoughts and memories of her decline and passing were center stage.

God bless and keep Vinnie, the dear heart, and may her daughter and loved ones find the strength to cope.

Sounds like you benefitted from the investment, too! Well done!

As a matter of fact I would. When in the news business in Kansas I used to chase tornados, it was fun. Just don't get too close.

I got one, unfortunately in the rain, while out on the ocean in Panama. Rain is another reason not using camera straps is good. Wet camera straps are... wet.

Brilliant, most of my work involves clouds, Here today and gone in a few seconds, each photo you take is truly unique and can never be reproduced! Great work, Thanks
Ian Hargraves

It is amazing how a few minutes can completely change the appearance of clouds. That's why I try and practice regularly so that when that moment occurs, I am prepared to capture it!
