Ha ha, your ponds sound like great fun, I have never seen one frog carrying her mate to another pond. Good luck with all the spawn.
It's normal for toads Brenda, male is tiny compared to female, she carries him to the water anyway!
Now they've started, frogs will spawn for about a week and there will be far too many tads to survive. Fish do take a toll, but they don't seem to avidly gorge on them. I do release some spawn in local ditches etc. if I get too much. Not illegal as others in UK might tell you.

Hi Dennis, we have 2 small ponds in the garden but there are no other natural water sources near us except the sea. I understand they always go back to the pond in which they were spawned when they are ready to spawn as adults so I will let them go here. I believe the survival rate is quite low but I will do what I can to protect them.
Remember my boast that my frogs spawn on 16th of Mar. Brenda? They did! I have 2 ponds one small (2500 litres) and one very small (no fish) 2 Days ago I watched 2 frogs couple in the larger pond, then the female carried the male to the small pond. Pouring with rain, I didn't attempt any pics. Ponds are fun!
It generally goes on for a week Brenda, more spawn appears each day. Interesting that they choose the same date each year. I have close ties to Shetland and every year their frogs spawn 2-3 weeks earlier than ours, (London) the opposite to what I'd expect. In my the local ditches, spawning time does not coincide with my pond spawning. How Mother Nature works!
Hi Brenda, I assume your tank is indoors, as soon as the temp. rises they hatch rapidly. I understand that young tads feed on algae, so a handful from a local pond would be useful. Also, there are proprietary tad foods available from aquatic garden centres, I have no experience of them, but guess they're algae pellets, similar (identical!) to those for fish. As I type, the amorous amphibians are starting to 'perform' in my pond. They spawn on the 15th Mar. every year, one could set a calender by them! Good luck!
Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi
Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi was a 9th-century Muslim mathematician and astronomer. He is known as the "father of algebra", a word derived from the title of his book, Kitab al-Jabr.
Euclid (c. 325-265 BC), of Alexandria, probably a student at the Academy founded by Plato, wrote a treatise in 13 books (chapters), titled The Elements of Geometry, in which he presented geometry in an ideal axiomatic form, which came to be known as Euclidean geometry.
Ancient Egyptian mathematics is the mathematics that was developed and used in Ancient Egypt c. 3000 to c. 300 BC, from the Old Kingdom of Egypt until roughly the beginning of Hellenistic Egypt. The ancient Egyptians utilized a numeral system for counting and solving written mathematical problems, often involving multiplication and fractions. Evidence for Egyptian mathematics is limited to a scarce amount of surviving sources written on papyri. From these texts it is known that ancient Egyptians understood concepts of geometry, such as determining the surface area and volume of three-dimensional shapes useful for architectural engineering, and algebra, such as the false position method and quadratic equations.

I’m leaving to Cuba for a 4 day trip. A private tour for two with a guide. Staying at a top hotel in Havana. I would greatly appreciate any advice on places that are good for street photos, street portraits and any tips on what should not be photographed. Also, any other advice to assure a safe and healthy experience. Thanks, BJW
Very safe BJW, brightly coloured wall murals, American cars, railway 'museums', Hemingway's old haunts, ypou'll wish you had more than 4 days. Enjoy!
Absolutely spot on! However, he does have a few supporters here, they share all those 'qualities' with him.

most probably this argument has been deeply discussed but once again is not bad , i have a Nikon D800 and one D3 and i need a wide angle lens wider than 14/24 mm , i want to buy the Nikon 10/20 AF-P DX refurbished for $239.95 by Nikon what will be the problems connected with this combination ?
If you have other alternative at same price pls tell me

I suggest looking at the Irix Gianfranco, it is a full frame 11mm and not overly expensive but manual focus. Happy 2019!

So Archie,
If a person born male, gets an operation to change their anatomy to female and wants to be called by a female name, how does that impact your life negatively?
Why not just call them Mary instead of Mario or wh**ever makes them happy. It costs you nothing and brings joy to them.
Seems to me that, that would be the "Christian" thing to do.
Spot on Frank! If you had a friend lumbered with a nickname that they told you offends them, you would cease to use it, well, decent folk would.
Here in London I see couples of different races all the time. It used to be common to see white females and black men together, but now we are seeing more white males with black fems. This pleases me greatly, as it means that once we are all 'coffee coloured', there will be no more racial hatred in our world.
