But what is pixel level?
_Rex wrote:
Many images can be verified as composite or not if viewed at pixel level. A fair amount of AR images are composites, and usually when created the creator doesn't think about it.

I read somewhere on the net that the way to see if your photos are really sharp you must view them at "pixel level". My question is how do you view at pixel level? I know bitmap photos are easly viewed as pixels by how are jpg's and tiff's viewed at pixel level?

Ain't it funny how all wild meat taste just like chicken.

The second bush is a palmetto. You can actually eat the roots. I've eaten one before on a survival outing. Not the best tasting(Kinda bland) but if you ever get lost in the woods in the Southeastern part of the country you won't starve.
You can eat the spider, also. Tastes just like chicken.

In Windows you donot copy the font into the font folder. You have to install it. In the attached picture this is an Adobe font down load, you click on it, it then opens to the picture, then click on the install, at the top and it will install the font to the font folder.

I just loaded my new Photoshop Elements 11 and can't figure out how to zoom in the expert mode. Obviously a mode I shouldn't be in if I can't even figure out how to zoom. The slider is at the top in the guided mode but I can't find it in expert.

In POPULAR PHOTOGRAPHY Dec 2011 they did an article on Authur Drooker who had modified a Canon 5D mark II for infrared photogaphy only, his camera was modifed by LDP in New Jersey (web site www.maxmax.com) I hope this helps.

I have a friend that likes doing Infrared, she has a Cannon Rebel she wants to have converted into infrared ready ability, I asked you before about Life Pixel, she tried contacting them with no response, this makes her nervous because she needs to send them the camera and $250.... she is not comfortable with this, since she cannot even have a voice on the other end. She read the article when it was discussed about Life Pixel are good, but don't know if they are still in business and so on.... Other suggestions? Who has dealt with them lately and had this done and were you able to make voice or email contact?

Can you help me to help her or do you have other companies that can do the same but ONE is able to speak with them.

I thank you all in advance for reading and trying to help!!

I run Ubuntu on one of my computers and two programs I use besides Gimp are Darktable and mtpaint, not sure if they reduce 16 bit files or not.

New to this forum but was drawn here hoping for a solution to a problem I'm having; finding a good program like lightroom that I can run in linux.... specifically in Ubuntu
My windows crashed and without a windows boot disk (naturally) I went to Linux but cannot find a decent photo processing software that can do what lightroom did for me....and don't suggest Gimp....it takes my 16 bit pictures and reduces them to 8 bits with a signigicent loss of colour
If you can help, thanks....if not, well, thanks for taking the time to read

I have a problem when I import images from camera to Lightroom 4, it puts the last 20 to 30 images into the next day date (in a new folder)
As I am new to LR4 and SLR shooting ( I check camera date to be correct). I have cross some times zones and re-adjust camera date but to no avail.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong.
Sometimes I think it was so much easier with point and shoot with Picsa. (expect when you get the wow picture in the SLR),
man what a learning curve
