Very good. Speed is phenomenal. I purchased a camera from them, they are based in Hong Kong, from ordering to delivery in the UK was 32 hours. It was possible to track the item on every step of its transit. You will not be disappointed.

Recently on UHH someone mentioned this very interesting little device. I bought one on Amazon last week which was sent from Italy. It arrived yesterday and my first impressions are good. It is a solid well engineered piece of kit and seems to do what it says on the box. It is powerful enough to silently allow my Canon 7D Mk II to glide either in a straight line or in curves of various radii. My query is have any UHHers bought one and what are their impressions and the experiments that they have tried.

This evening’s super moon. Taken in Dubai at approximately 7.30pm with my wife’s P900 at full zoom, hand held. I guess many of you guys will have to wait until later before you will be able to see it.

I read that fishermen want to kill cormorants and goosanders because they eat fish.

Those with a Canon 7DMk2 will be aware of the annoying (to some) feature of the GPS that when it is switched on it continues to log position event though the camera has been turned off. This reduces battery life and turning it off in Settings is a chore and easily overlooked. I understand that the GPS on the 6DMk2 has two modes. The first identical to the 7DMk2 and a second one where the GPS is only active while shooting. Is anyone aware if this feature may be added when Canon update the 7DMk2 firmware? Or is there a hack?

My wife and I visited Boston last year at about this time of year. We walked up to Boston common and visited the large public garden adjacent to the Common. In the garden is a large equestrian statue of George Washington. Hang around there and you will probably see a Red-tailed hawk. Apparently there are several in the area which live and breed there. We watched and photographed one for about half an hour. Really good experience.

Four year’s ago my wife was photographing ducks at a duck pond and, while concentrating on the ducks, slipped and fell. There was a dreadful crack, like a stick breaking, but it was her tibia. I immediately phone the emergency services and was asked for location, preferably a post code (zip code). I told them that I didn’t think duck ponds head one. However they soon found us. After surgery involving a titanium rod and subsequent physiotherapy she is 100%. Take care out

I use mine with the Sigma 1.4 Extender. It extends the foal length to 147mm which is excellent for insect shots or items which are relatively inaccessible. Go for it.
