Thanks soo much for the opinions! I agree with most everyone - the clouds don't really go with the time of day the Cathedral was shot. In defense, I will say that this was only my second attempt at adding a feature to a photo so I was more concerned about how it would work than the actual esthetics. I certainly have lots of cloud images that I could have used here.
And the straightening really helped. I must learn to have a more critical eye when editing my shots. Sometimes I over look obvious mistakes or little bloops that I should fix before calling it done. THANK you all for writing!
Please let me know if you like these or hate them. I can get carried away, but one of these is a puzzle. If you can guess what the liquified version of the photo is, that would make my day. It is pretty obvioius if you look close. The others I am just wondering if anyone but me likes them.

I was going to try to start selling some images...already sold a few. It is a big help to get opinions of other people to see what is good and what is not. How do you guys feel about enhancing photos with Photoshop or Elements (or PaintShop Pro)?
By the way, I added the clouds. Is this a bad thing to do? I just thought it helped a rather mundane photo.
OH...the cathedral is leaning.....yes you are right. I could fix that; I didn't even notice it!
By the way, anyone know how to enlarge a photo like "Iceland" that was taken in the wrong mode? I don't even know what it was set on because my daughter changed the setting without my knowing it.
Is it leaning? Maybe I am off center, but I don't see that it is leaning. Maybe I have looked at it too long.
I agree.....got my daughter a T2i - only difference is the T3i is better for videos, which she didn't need.
jack - what do you mean Canon cameras and lenses are not stabilized? All the new ones are.
Sorry, that one wouldn't blow up for some reason. I think my daughter had set my camera on the wrong setting - not in RAW like I usually do.
These are a few of my latest shots - I have been dabbling in Photoshop and although many of the filters and effects are too far out there, I have found a few that I like. Trouble is, I don't know if other people like these or not.

Maybe you didn't know that you can use the clone tool in Photoshop to erase the watermark on the Photomatix prints. Didn't think it would work but it does! Cheaper than paying for the whole software - just try the free version. And there is no expiration date.
Here are a few in Cape Cod, where my daugher lives; I try to get a new lighthouse each time I go. I have a love for the ocean and lighthouses in particular. These aren't my greatest shots by any means but they bring back memories.
I asked this once before and got no responses. Does anyone know how to reduce the size of an HDR image so it can be sent in an e-mail or posted on this site? It is a combination of 3 shots and the final image says the file is too large to send. Any ideas? I don't know a lot about resizing - it seems usually it is done automatically.
I have an HDR photo which I like (used 3 shots) but I can;t send it because the file is too large. How is the easiest way to size it down so it will go through?
