My problem was with Photoshop, the 3 images were in Photoshop not LR>
2 of the images were transfers from LR for further enhancements/adjustments and the other was the test transfer from my iPhone.

After I PP the 2 images I transferred them back to LR and they are in LR with the changes, an Image stayed in my "Recent Files" when I opened Photoshop.

You have to understand that I rarely use PS, (only 3 images since January when I transferred from Apple Aperture) so in the past when I clicked in LR to send it to PS the image opened and I worked on it and sent it back to LR without paying attention or having the need to see the opening cover page (or whatever it is called).

This popped up because of my direct transfer of the new software update to the iPhone app allowing the direct transfer.

What I believe the "Cover Page" is, is simply a history of what was done previously or a "track Record" if you will, but the new direct transfer skewed that in that I had to click on the image to open it and therefore I mistook the other images "History" as still being open in PS.

In other words, as the previous poster mention that the images do go away either because of time or whatever the maximum amount of images is in the "Recent Files" gets overridden.

I hope somehow in my convoluted answer it makes sense to everyone.

Thanks
Greg

On another site, they suggested that I hit the "clear recent" tab
It worked, they all went away, but the edited ones are still in LR>
I believe that should be the answer.
Thanks

(1)
I have the latest version of Lightroom CC Photoshop 2015.5.1
I do not use Bridge
(2)
Where is the "Delete From Catalog" ?
Whenever I click on the image blank screen appears in the box
(3)
I hit the clear recent and all the images were removed,
I checked LR and the edited images are still there
Hopefully that ends the issue,
Thanks
Greg

I have 3 images in Photoshop that are no longer an image that can be opened.
2 images state when clicked: "it could not be opened because the file is missing" TRUE as they are the original images that are no longer available.
Another one is from a direct import from my iPhone, it was a test to verify that a photo app worked.
I deleted if from the hard drive as I could not delete it from Photoshop Directly, the image is in the listing when the PS is opened BUT when I click on the image PS opens and there is nothing there.

In other words there are images in the listing page that opens when PS is clicked but no longer have the ability to open in PS, they may be thumbnail images only.

I have a Mac with the latest version of El Captain.

Thanks,

Greg

Thanks,

I have done some Initial research into getting an iPhone app for its camera;
Here are the 2 main ones I am looking at :
Pro camera and Procam 3
There are 2 others Pro shot and Manual that seem to have similar features.
(1)
Here is a must : I want to have the shutter speed fixed when set for all shots taken.
IOW's I do not want to have to set it everytime I either snap a picture or turn the camera on.
(2)
Some what important, separate control of ISO
(3)
All other features I may or may not use or need and can adjust if I feel it necessary for the particular shot.

I transfer to LR for editing, so in-camera editing is not important
I would like the files in TIFF, I have not seen the ability for RAW in a App yet.

I have seen a few with camera shake, it could be a good thing.
At 73, I can use all the help I can get.

I have the iPhone 6 v 9.3.4

I have one foot out the door, There is a setting to change the function for the ISO and how it operates.
IOW's to hold the button down or not.
Then when you are finished you hit the ISO button again and it disengages the button.
I just tried it, I press the ISO button and and it come on in the big screen, I make the change for : to auto I have it off and to change the number.
Then when I am finished I hit the button again and the ISO function disappears from the screen
If you are referring to something else please do not shoot the messenger, LOL

My experience as a hobby user>
Unfortunately I purchased Capture 8 rather then do the trial version, it was on sale and I over reacted in November of 2014 to use January 1, 2015.
I was moving from Apple Aperture and was used to an easy app with just enough adjustments to satisfy my personal needs.
Let me stress the importance of the last statement.

Let me first say that importing directly into Capture one 8 opens with a very good image.
Having said that:
As to CO8, here is where I came to find it a problem for my needs:
The forums are not very active in responding.
The website "go to" help sections are very vague as they have a bunch of suggestions unrelated to your problem grouped into one.
The spot removal was annoying, that adjustment was key to me in having a family that bugs me for removing EVERY blemish.
Could not import directly from the camera, I do not like removing the cards all the time.
I found the sessions and catalog extremely complicated.
You cannot hit the return button to accept an adjustment, it sends you to another adjustment.
The Videos are geared to the professional level and I think that is where the main issue is, CO8/9 is a professional users software.
B& H actually gave me a Telephone number to call and the person on the other end said not to call anymore that they do not have the ability to answer questions.
Where i asked if I could resell my license, not only did they not answer me, they removed my question from the forum.

I wound up getting the Lightroom CC for the monthly fee.
I was unhappy about getting into a subscription but Apple left me no choice.
What I did was to start on January 1, 2016 after a monthly trial version.
I find it to be closer to Aperture and it has the PS ability which I have not used yet, as I stated I am strictly a user for personal reasons.

My apologies for the negative post, but it should always good to hear all sides of an issue politely.
Being 73, I guess I am too old for radical changes.

I am thinking of getting the 200-500mm.
I have a 2 Gitzo, tri and mono.
They are both old, 25 years at least.

Is there an issue with all brands of tripods or just certain brands and/or types?

Thanks

Not sure if anyone mentioned Bass Hall, it needs to be on your list, it is Downtown.
If you are driving then the ATT and Rangers Stadium are interesting shots
If you have never been to the DFW area, Dealey Plaza.
Photos and the film appear to give a deceptive portrayal because it is on a curve and sloping downhill away from the window.
I for one was taken back by the angle.
Just my 2 cents, not judging or trying to bring up questioning the Warren Report.

I have a naive question :

Is there any difference when shooting at F8 with either a fast or not so fast lens.
I am talking focus not quality.
In other words :
Taking a picture with a 28mm 1.8 or a zoom at 28mm F4.

I realize there are other lens with a higher #, 3.5-5.6, I just do not own any to test.

Yes. about the custom button and I do use the AE-L AF-L button

I just felt it was that one little minor thing that they left out.
No Big Deal,

I really do find the 750 faster then the 610 at night.

So I recently upgraded from the 610 to the 750.

First of all, there should be a distinction in my mind between a prosumer like me and a PRO.
It seems to me a PRO starts with a 810 and goes up.
Where as a prosumer's top end is the 810.
Just my personal opinion, no need to yell !!!

Why I went with the 750:
(1)
The sale with the 24-120 was too good to pass up.
I have 3 of the 1.8 primes and the 70-200 f4
I had the 24-85 610 kit lens.
(2)
I started shooting an adult kick ball league at night and the 610 was too slow and the 750 had good AF reviews.
(3)
I do not like the live view BUT my wife loves it and I love my wife, she really, really likes the tilt and swivel screen.
Plus in Live View when she hits the BB in beeps in focus unlike the viewfinder.
DO NOT criticize me on this one, LOL
(4) new version of the system and a $1000 cheaper.

The only thing I would have like and a minor disappointment was that there is no dedicated AF-On button.

I am 72 years old and had a dark room for years, sharpness is a word that to me is hard to fathom as a night and day difference between the 2 models.
Plus what can be accomplished in PP is so remarkable.
We are talking sharpness not out of focus.

Some other minor items:
The 750 is a shade lighter and smaller then the 810
The grip has a slightly better feel for my small hands for the Back button and shutter combo.
May be opposite for larger hands.
2 different cards, I prefer one type
Built in WiFi
3500FX II version, unsure of the value
