I got this camera for a song thru Sony. I can't wait to get out and get some decent photos. I've been taking pix around the house, but nothing worth posting.

I've seen these before. Are these the ones that seem to be fighting with each other as they flit around from flower to flower?

Same here azrrt76...my company sponsors the Baltimore Zoo so we get free passes anytime we want them. I just keep forgetting to ask for them when I'm at the office. :)

I get the impression from looking at these photos that people don't know the difference between a bubble and a dew drop...or a tractor. Still not sure how that ties in with bubbles. There ARE some nice photos in there.

I am at Ritz in Towson, MD. All cameras and lenses are 10% off retail. Everything else is 20% TO 40% OFF. Not exactly great prices.

Have you guys tried KEH? I just bought a nearly new lens from them in excellent condition but for much less than what I would have paid if I bought it new. They have a great website and they are really good with their pricing and their service.

I just got an email that says Ritz is closing their doors. About 5 stores will be re-opened in November under new management. Everything in their stores is 20-40% off original price.

My Oflash arrived yesterday and I took a few photos of it in the mirror. It definitely has some hot spots near the top. I need to figure out if I need the foil on the inside. Where the flash goes in, there is a thick section of what I will call lucite or some kind of clear, solid plastic. I will probably follow the post on here for modifying the cardboard with some reflective foil or other material.
