I missed one of the most beautiful shots Ive ever seen, but it was only half my fault. For years I have always carried a pocket camera with me. I dont call mine a point and shoot, because it has Aperture priority, full manual, exposure bracketing etc. Anyway, I was flying to Washington, and did think to have it my carryon. As we rose up through heavy clouds I found myself sandwiched between heavy solid clouds below, that looked like a comforter, another layer up above, and the sun setting in between! It was breathtaking, but the turbulence was so bad, the keep your butt in the seat light was on, and the flight attendant was watching me. I couldnt get to the camera 3 feet above my head. After the sun set "through the bottom layer of clouds" its rays came back up through, and it was like nothing Ive ever seen. Im so disappointed my camera wasnt in my pocket.

I would have got the camera and pretend not to understand english when the flight attedant started giving me a hard time. It's worked for me before.

What they really need is more sex...and I'm not joking...the only time they really, really get dangerous is during the rut. They remind me of teenage boys. Or better yet...teenage boys at a dance with hot little babetts and someone scored a bottle of Jack....The rut is on and they are dangerous.............
On two occasions...I've had them run smack-dab into the side of my car...deer, that is, not teenage boys. Both get intoxicated during the rut and just run amuck...

The thing with teenage girls when I was a teenager was Boone's Farm wine. My dad was retired Air Force and got it on base when no one else could sell it here. Those were the days!

I remember Boone's Farm! Mid 60's. Put quite a bit of it down and brought up a bit of it too. Thanks for bringin' up memories. There's a lot goin' through my head right now.

Have you had her for the whole 9 years??Jen.
Sorry in takin' so long to get back to ya, my email shut down last night. Yep! I've had her that long. Some "T's" can live up to 25 yrs.
I learn something new everyday here :-) Jen.
"Ts" make good photo subjects as they don't move around too much or too fast. Well, that is until it's time to eat. Then they become super sonic!

I like 'em all. This reminds me of a house that was in my neighborhood when I was a little kid. We weren't scared of it though as we knew who lived in it.

I'm pretty much a "newby" to the "DSLR world" shootin' my K20D for about 9 months. I've had trouble tryin' to use and alter the RAW images that I've captured. So, I just shoot JPEG, use the "Windows Photo Gallery" that's installed in my computer and do as little as possible to fix my pics. I have no complaints but I'm sure you more experienced shooters would maybe differ with my results.
