I am in Massachusetts, these were all in Ct.
These are straight from the camera.
Not to tough, some one should get this.
That was excellent. My kids 915,17)who have never seen the movie recognized it and watched it with me. Thanks
Another cold winter day in New England.
My son picked up one of my old cameras and I got this quick shot off.
Very nice action shots. Love #1. I assume that "chuffed" means happy.
These are a set from an old factory. I had previously posted a pic of this and went by on a differt day and thought I would capture the whole place. These will give you more of an overview of the scene.
Different view than previous post
From the other side of the river.
Close up
Seen better days
Still a small working barn.
My 13 year old was always trying out my cameras and was in my photog bag when ever he could get his hands on it. I gave him my 8008 for Christmas that year to see if he would use it, he did. He loved using my D90 as well, so for the next Christmas I bought him a D70 off craigslist for a very reasonable price. He can use my lenses and we go out to shoot together, although not often enough. My Suggestion is to upgrade your D50 and give that to her, She gets her mom's beloved camera and you can get an upgrade and you can share lenses and time together.
These were shot on a freezing cold windy night, just a few minutes apart, just after sunset. The hurricane barrier is on the left in #2.

Just because you can do HDR does not mean you should.
It's time to clean out some old gear. I have some Nikon 35mm stuff and some old bellows cameras, old box camera's even a few old Polaroids. Take a peek at the photos and see if you recognize anything. I am trying to get an idea of what this stuff is worth. I would like to sell the whole collection to some one who could give them a proper place to display rather than in my attic.
I like the pilings and rope. The water in the background is ok. I hate the road. Perhaps a lower angle could have eliminated the road. It looks like a decorative piling in a parking lot rather than a working one one the edge of the water.
