That you have 10 decision-making criteria suggests you construct a 10-column table and then for each possible bridge camera fill-in the spaces from the specifications listed in places such as the B&H store. This can be done on line. And if you do this you will possess more bridge camera data than anyone. It is a prodigous task but you will become THE expert.

I am actually on LR 5.7. Not sure what you mean by "ACR"?

And I thought Adobe has stopped providing support/updates for versions earlier than 6.

True. Adobe ceased supporting legacy Photoshop versions. My PS CS4 has the then ACR version and it will not open Raw from my Sony a6000. Adobe has no update for cameras more recent than CS4 issuance.

I think the lack of update support has to marketing trying to push everyone into their latest PS.

The title, "Cure for Gas," may come some may decades after the final Cure for Cancer happens. It could come about sooner if every camera, lens, accessory manufacturer went out of business.

My tripod worry is that the tripod mounting plate can harm the camera. In the first picture the plate has two pins: one threaded, the other for 'whatever'. In the second picture, though it is hard to see, that second pin seems to be touching the lens barrel. The mount was not threaded as tight to prevent camera instability. What I need is a mount plate that is safer.

Water derives it's unique properties from the fact that the two O-H bonds are not colinear but inclined at a 104 degree angle. The gives water a large dipole moment that has large consequences for a materials physical propeeties. Would someone with experience in quantum mechanics explain how this is so.

The key to doing 'effective' editing is directly connected to the ability to make Selections (in Photoshop) and for this the pressure sensitive pen and Wacom tablet is indispensible. But is comes with a cost - one needs some level of sketching capability. Only you can assess this. Remapping the computer screen image downwise to a smaller tablet area means the 'x' dimensional motion translates to 'multiple x' motion on screen. In other words, fine scale selections become more difficult to do. Each person has to find their own level of skill.

On my Sony a6000 in the P mode the canera selects both Aperure and Shutter speed and whatever WB and ISO are set to be (if both to auto, then it's P&S). I don't see how P mode is much different than the Intelligent or Superior modes. The A, S, and M modes are the only way one can set exposure things.
My dog is now demanding attention, so signing off.

In addition, the sentence structure is poor. Example, the statement, "next to Alfei Menashe holding a knife,” implies a village can hold a knife. That's par for the course for CNN.

My copy of this post on my iPad Air 2 did not have a photo. Must be a gear misfire.

If you have good hand/eye coordination and have bent toward sketching, then most of the Wacom tablets will do you well. The secret to doing well in Photoshop is the ability to do Selections, sometimes tight tracings. Be aware that the Wacoms thank replicate the image are pricey. The are times in PP that precise Selection spell success from failure.
