Well, it may not be long before I'll be looking for excuses to get out of town ... when the wind starts blowing & the snow falls horizontally. So I may take you up on coming down ... however, I gave up sleeping on a couch after being married. Besides, it would be my luck that my dog would like you & want to stay!!!!

Great captures ... & you are right about it being special to capture wolves. Saw 2 Gray Wolves in Lamar YNP this past spring ... they were watching 2 Grizzlies ... a female with last year's cub chewing on a carcass until a big male Grizzly came over the hill at which point the female & cub ran off & the wolves pounced on the carcass for a few minutes. After running off ... the female walked back to the male with the cub following her at a distance. She always stayed between the cub & male I suspect to protect the cub (males kill cubs to drive the female into estrous) but eventually the 2 adults mated ... all seemed interested in a carcass ... but the Grizzlies clearly ruled ownership. Thanks for sharing.
