For those interested in breaking up the bundle and stated "piced right", what would that be? If someone is interested in the D7100 and someone else is interested in the Tokina, yes I will break up the bundle.

Ralph gave you excellent advice. I have been a David Busch fan for a very long time. His writing style suits my learning style precisely.
At first my new D810 was a challenge but with David's book, I have mastered it.
Perhaps a trip to a book store to look through the various publications might be worth while.

It is good to hear positive feedback on the Sigma150 - 600 contemporary. My Sigma Art lens is terrific so I am considering the 150-600 Sport version (weather sealing is important. Not sure if the difference in price is justifiable.

For me it's definitely weather sealing as harsh Alaska weather can really do damage to a camera. I shoot a lot of outdoor activities in the winter i.e. ice sculpting events, aurora borealis, dog mushing. Even with a weather sealed body caution needs to be taken. Camera jackets are often used over the weather sealed body.

Great shots! That is pretty much what the sky really looks like during fall: September time frame. The summer sky here in Alaska is vastly different.
