Two days before December 31st, I walked into Samys Camera on Fairfax in Los Angeles, asked if they had D850s in stock, and walked out of the store with a brand new one.

Did anyone see the stockpile of D850 that are at the Olympics? That might have the delay up. A friend wants one and has been waiting for weeks with no firm date. I'm sure it won't be too long.

I can't tell you about the lag time for Amazon. I can tell you I ordered a D850 from B&H 1/4/18 and got it 2/2.

Try Pictureline or Roberts camera...I had one on order for 6 weeks at BH and found one at Pictureline...
