Jerry, here are some photos regarding the blizzard I mentioned previously.

I wouldn't even know where to begin with that.

We got lucky the other day - only 3" of snow. At what point in life do people stop wish for snow and start wishing for no snow? I bet it's when they have to clear the driveway and drive on slippery roads.

I stopped wishing for snow 49 years ago when I started driving truck. Now that I'm retired, I still don't like it.

The dogs just turned 12, so we went on a long walk yesterday with clear skies (unfortunately a high wind). This is a pano from iPhone shots using Light Room. It may be a while for the next walk as I go in for a pacemaker on Monday..

Wishing you speedy recovery. I had foot reconstruction in October and went 6 weeks no weight bearing. It took it's toll on leg strength but recovery is going very well. Start physical therapy 01/29. I am up and walking around. Best of luck and will keep you in my prayers.

I've a bunch of past dated film that has been either refrigerated then frozen, or originally frozen for a number of years. 35mm film includes Sensei at least 12 - 15years old, Velvia 50 about 10 years, Provia 100 about 7 to 9 years and some B&W 120 about 6 to 10 years. My 35mm B&W always frozen is dated 2018 so I think it should be ok. I appreciate your thoughts.

I'll be honest. I have know idea, but in years past I have kept film in my refrigerator for 5 or 6 years past expiration and had good results.

Working outside I heard the unmistakable sound of the four engines of a B-17 flying in the distance.
It turned out to be a tour by the "Aluminum Overcast" being held for three days at the Rutland
Airport in Vermont. For those who had an affinity for WWII aircraft they could take a flight in the
bomber as a once in a life time event. True it would cost $475.00 but for those who just had to
experience it the flight was well worth the expense. Calculating the cost of running the four Prat
and Whitney 7 cylinder 2000 horse power engines was another reason for the cost. The look on
the faces of those who had taken the trip said it all.

I took the opportunity to fly on the Nine-0-Nine from the Collings foundation about 15 years ago. It was $400.00 at that time. They told me that it cost about $3000.00 per hour back then. I'm sure it's more now. Nice images.

This is a bridge located just south of Rehoboth Beach, DE on Coastal Hwy (Rt 1) I've always thought of it as a beautiful bridge. One day, I'd like to get a night time shot.

I've tried a night time shot but was too far away and didn't have a lens with the reach I needed.

I think it's a nice, "quiet" image.... not everything has to be "high drama"!

I also think it can be improved in a pretty simple way... by using a more panoramic aspect ratio and doing some cropping to reduce the dark foreground, moving the sun more off-center, and eliminating some minor distractions such as the seagull silhouette on the far right hand side at the water's edge and looking "out of frame".

Hope you don't mind, I did a quick crop to see what it would look like (16:9 aspect ration). Here's the result...

As a matter of fact, I do like your cropped image. Thank you. That's what is nice about an extra set of eyes.

I got a Nikon d3500 a little less than a week ago and although I’m still wildly confused, I think I got a couple decent shots.

Without a doubt some very good shots.
