That last one looks a lot like the Lower Two Medicines Lake.

Nice job.

I have read that 90% of Canadians live within 100 miles of the US border.

I enjoyed your pictures. I've been to Stonehenge thrice--once in 1980, once in 1989, and again in 2000. I've lost my 1989 photos, but here is one from 2000:

I don't know how far down the Oregon coast you plan to travel, but there are a lot of things along US-101 worthy of visiting. Some things that come to mind are Haystack Rock (there are 2 of them!): http://theoregoncoast.info/HaystackRock.html. Tillamook, Oregon is noted for its cheeses and many folks like to visit the cheese factory there. Just south of Tillamook on US-101 is the Tillamook Air Museum, located in the only remaining blimp hanger on the west coast. At the town of Hebo, Oregon, a short jog over on OR-22 from US-101 (1/4 mile) is a road up to Mount Hebo--it's a little rough but can be driven by any vehicle up 8 miles to the top (168 turns). About 2/3 of the way up is Hebo Lake, a nice little place for a picnic. At the top a short walk provides a wide view of the Pacific Ocean, including Tillamook and Haystack Rock. Pacific City is a nice little town (the other Haystack Rock is there) and it has a pretty nice beach. (FWIW, Mount Hebo was the site of a long-range radar site in the 1958-1980 time frame; however, everything has been removed and the site returned to nature. It is a major habitat for the Spotted Butterfly.)

Very, very nice! (I'm a newbie, too, so a "welcome" from me probably isn't appropriate--but it's the thought that counts.)

So many have made supportive comments about my pictures and I really do appreciate them. Thanks to all of you. You make a new guy feel very welcome.

It was fairly warm the second day I walked down from Place de la République to St. Ambroise and I was tired, too, so I sat on one of the benches in front of the church for a while and watched the Harley-Davidson motorcycles drive down the Boulevard Voltaire. (I think there's a H-D store along there somewhere.) I love H-D motorcycles (can't ride any more) and did visit a couple of their stores near the Arc d'Triomphe on that trip. I take photographs of them, too.

Rena, it was. And I apologize that my comments have sort of taken over your beautiful post. It was not my intention. I'm new and have much to learn about how to handle myself here. You have been most understanding.

Walt, I do not injure easily, so that is not a problem. :) And I do understand (now) what the Main Discussion forum is for. At some point I probably will take advantage of the ability to learn from others how to improve. Right now I'm just getting used to the format of this site--it's quite different from my normal operations using Flickr® (which I will continue to use). I think learning to interleave comment and photos will be a useful tool, and Flickr® doesn't have that as an option.

This is my second attempt at a Topic posting--the first (#1) was erroneously posted in the Main Discussion section, for which I apologize.

Between tours I had a free day in Paris, France in 2015 and decided to check out a church located just a short distance from my hotel (Crowne Plaza République), and I walked down to it. The first time I did, it was not open, so I just got a couple of exterior shots. I tried again the next day, found it open, and took pictures inside. So here are a few photos of the Eglise Saint Ambroise.

The exterior
