Lesser-known churches in Paris, France #2--St. Ambroise

This is my second attempt at a Topic posting--the first (#1) was erroneously posted in the Main Discussion section, for which I apologize.

Between tours I had a free day in Paris, France in 2015 and decided to check out a church located just a short distance from my hotel (Crowne Plaza République), and I walked down to it. The first time I did, it was not open, so I just got a couple of exterior shots. I tried again the next day, found it open, and took pictures inside. So here are a few photos of the Eglise Saint Ambroise.

The exterior

Do you know what this is? (Saw several walking around the structure)

(it's intended to discourage urination against the corner)

Now heading inside (view toward Chancel)

And there's even a little garden/park in front with benches where you can rest

It's a lovely little church--I recommend a visit to it.

Nice pictures - interesting, I do not know this church, even though I have wandered in the area and definitely know Boulevard Voltaire and Boulevard Richard Lenoir - just goes to show there is so much to see on the off-roads in Paris! Thanks for another great post!

It was fairly warm the second day I walked down from Place de la République to St. Ambroise and I was tired, too, so I sat on one of the benches in front of the church for a while and watched the Harley-Davidson motorcycles drive down the Boulevard Voltaire. (I think there's a H-D store along there somewhere.) I love H-D motorcycles (can't ride any more) and did visit a couple of their stores near the Arc d'Triomphe on that trip. I take photographs of them, too.
