People today, in general, have no common sense they are ignorant and just plain stupid and somewhere along the line younger parents are at fault for they grew up entitled and raise their kids the same way so what's out there is a bunch of entitled brats. Nobody today from this younger generation has respect for authority or for the places they visit and the problem keeps getting bigger just look at the fact of the amount of people who are in favor of electing a crooked person such as Hilary Clinton.

that is simply not the case the Japanese never had any intention of invading Australia , the Japanese sent a task force to the coral sea to block any attempt by the USA to stop their invasion of Pupua and port Moresby , the under strength mainly Australian forces after many attacks held the Japanese and finally pushed them back to the other side of the island , hence the Kokoda Track a sacred place in Australian history as many thousands of Australians were wounded or died their , it is not possible to save us from an invasion that was never going to happen , the Japanese would have needed to attack Australia from the north ,From Darwin -- Adelaide 3000 km away , Perth 3960km away Sydney 3934 km away Brisbane 3433 km away and nothing in between really in 1942 and most of that is desert an all most impossible task even today

The Japanese ultimately decided not to invade the Australian mainland during World War II, but they did intend to cut Australia’s supply lines from America. They planned to begin their attack from Rabaul, New Britain, and from there to blockade Australia from bases they would establish on various Pacific island groups: Fiji, the New Hebrides, Samoa and the Solomons.



In early May 1942, the Japanese despatched an invasion fleet from Rabaul to take Port Moresby, Papua. They also sent a carrier force to patrol into the Coral Sea to intercept any American carriers sent to thwart their planned attack. The Japanese landed at Tulagi in the Solomons on 2 May. At the same time, their invasion fleet, protected by carrier air support, headed towards Port Moresby on the south coast of Papua.
