The Schmidt's red-tailed monkey is a small guenon with a white or yellow nose, white cheeks and a long tail. Their fur is brown, black and gray, and the underside of their tail is red, giving them their name. In the English language, the word guenon is of French origin.

The Gray's monitor lives only on a small number of islands in the Philippines. The monitor is well known for its diet, which consists primarily of ripe fruit. Monitors are generally carnivorous animals, which makes the Gray's monitor somewhat an exception.

Geoffroy's marmosets are found in the lowland rainforests of Brazil. They prey on frogs, snails, lizards, spiders and insects. They have been known to exploit the insects disturbed by army-ant swarm raids.
