I've tried several times with different cables but it's still pinning trying to detect my camera for almost an hour. Please any advice?

If you are using a MacBook the problem is likely with the operating system; this is a known issue. I had this same problem just a couple of weeks ago. I've since had updates to the OS and was just able to connect a Z7ii although LR had to be relaunched in rosetta mode. You might want to check and see if you have the latest version of software and firmware for you computer and camera. The following links may also be of some help. The second link covers a workaround for the OS until the camera manufacturers catch up with firmware updates. I did not try it myself but would have had I a real need.

Good luck, resolving these problems is part of the fun (if it can be made to work).

Trying to tether using canon R6 markup & Apple MacBook Pro current software Adobe Lightroom. Adobe doesn’t seem to have a support for that specific camera yet anybody know one of my workaround?

The problem is with a security upgrade in the Mac OS. Check the apple web site for thier recommended work arround. Presumably Adobe will eventuall catch up.

For me focus peaking is the perfect tool for Tilt (Tilt-shift) focus adjustments. Examples could be a surface you want to capture in extreme depth of focus at a wide open aperture like F2.8. Fast way to get results.

I agree!!! It sure does help get the tilt set up right.

Quality minced beef....... He will eat anything he can get his claws on, snakes, birds and rodents... He is quite timid and will take off if surprised, but once I throw meat at him he will let me come quite close..

Perhaps he's hoping for an even larger meal? I'd keep my distance; even a little nip would likely start a nasty infection.

Someone here made and offhanded remark about focus peaking not always being accurate.

Would someone care to expand on that?

You will notice that focus peaking takes in the entire "acceptable" DOF in focus. If you want the point of sharpest focus you're better servied zooming into the display.

Yes, there is a section devoted to film photography. Click the "Home" button at the top and then the "All Topics" button to get a complete listing of the sections available one of which is Film Photography. There are others that may also be of assistance.

Beautiful shots LMG. The snow certainly turned AZ into a winter wonderland.

What you're seeing is the extremes - white and black. The white is so bright it's probably blown highlight. Even if it has a pronounced yellow colour, the closer it gets to being a blown highlight, the whiter it gets. That's true of any colour.

I concur with R.G. The moon, your subject here, comprises a very small part of the overall frame so the camera's exposure routine is increasing overall exposure attempting to achieve an average neutral gray resulting in over-exposed moon. At these extreems the color is lost. By the way, do not use auto anyting; it will just be another route to hit neutral gray. Stick with manual settings of ISO, aperture and shutter speed. Here's Nikon's advice on exposure for moon photography.

It's a nice shot as is but you could try some optional crops; perhaps balancing the negative space at the top with the pier Ultimately it's how it stikes you, after all Van Gough went mad trying to sell his pictures not that I wish that on you.

Perhaps a ride up Mt. Lemmon? E. Mt. Lemmon Hwy becomes Contry Rd. 39. Take it to the top, leave early.
