I use the lens on my 7500 and I’m very pleased with the results. It is an excellent lens and will work fine with your camera. It is a heavy lens and As suggested a good tripod will help. I also purchased a shoulder strap to take weight off my neck for the times I wasn’t using a tripod or monopod. I bought mine as a refurbished one directly from Nikon USA for under $1000. Check their site for deals.
