Great shot! A friend and I were out with my son’s English Bulldog puppy yesterday. She finally gave up and said the puppy was not well behaved enough for photography!
I like both versions but they tell totally different stories! It is according to the story you are trying to tell. I would say though that the single little girl does not appear to be the subject of either version. Only after looking at them for a bit are your eyes drawn to her with her interesting expression.
While my iPhone 7 does make decent pictures, the only time I have used it in shear and a half is to take pictures of my banged up legs when I was in the hospital. While phones will replace the simple point and shoot cameras I just don’t think they will seriously compete with the true DSLR or mirror less.
Yep, peppers! My grandmother raised them for their good looks. Called them bouquet peppers. We found out they were hot when my cousin picked some and rub her eyes!!!
My thoughts too! In the B&W the couple just kind of blend in especially because they are a small part of the pix. In the color, your eyes go directly to her purple dress and then his white shirt because it is brighten in color
I’m an old guy that started with just a pretty simple box and roll of film! Has it gotten to we’re nobody can do anything manual anymore? My son now tells me the best way to keep your vechile from get stolen is to buy a straight/manual transmission!
I am completely amazed at the amount of good advice given on this topic! Like Bruce, I think this is the next on my list as far as post processing. I think I will try to get some ready for the West TN Fair in late summer. They have a pretty good show there. Very interesting thread
And Bruce, when you get this figured out, come on down to West TN and teach me!!!!
I'm still not real sure about the subject matter but the photography work is great!
I thought when I first click and open this thread that There could not be a better one than the Pug in the first pic! Then I started down the column of pictures and thought that about the rest of them too! Great set of photos! Which is my favorite? I like them all and I'm not going to start playing favorites here!
Hey, I think those are pretty good pictures. At least for a non pro. But this is coming from someone who removes every person out of a scene before I shoot it. Any person in my photo automatically ruins an otherwise decent photo!!! People are tuff on me!
We got about two inches where I live just west of KY Lake/TN River. Earlist snow I can remember here! Unfortunately there was a wreck this morning about 3 miles from my home caused by the snow. It cost two people their lives. Let’s remember those effected badly by the weather in our thoughts and prayers.
Blue Ridge Parkway is great everywhere! Take lots of time and if you have any time left stay in Cherokee NC for a few days. Besides the Great Smokies NP there are lots of great drives to the South after I he parkway ends. Someone has mentioned Bryson City already. I have motorcycles the parkway and the south side of the Smokies. You just can’t go wrong!
Really enjoyed the photos! Thanks for posting. And my dad was in the Navy in WWII and my grandson is joining as an officer when he graduates from college next year!
