I get mine done at Easy Canvas prints and they add it as an option if you want it for $4.99.

Composition is a tricky thing. I find that if I close one eye and look at the subject I can get a better idea of what the camera will see because it is a monocular device versus looking with both of our eyes. And, yes that is what you're doing most of the time with the camera, but it's more difficult to see when looking through the camera's lens. The other thing I try to do is use the depth of field preview button if your camera has one. You'll often be surprised at what is either in the shot that you don't want or too out of focus in the DOF that you do want in it. And, then sometimes what you are shooting isn't standing still. In those cases I try to increase the shutter speed and fire a burst of frames with the hope that one will be successful. I'm far from being any pro, so I'm sure that others will have possibly better thoughts, but this is what works for me.

I have upgraded and yes I have had, and still have problems with ACR, Photoshop, LR and ViewNXi after spending considerable time attempting to resolve. The problem I have is in the area of colour management. I did not have the same problem with running Win10.

PROBLEM -

When I open an image in ACR (raw or jpg) the colour is correct to my eye, whites are white and greys are grey. My monitor is calibrated. I can use the few different monitor profiles, latest and previous, that I have and whilst there are very minor differences whites are still white.

When I open that same image in PS whites are no longer white and the image has a yellowish hue.

At this point let me emphasize that my concerns/problem is not one of colour 'accuracy' but of colour 'difference' between what I see in the two different applications, ACR/PS.

When I save the image I am viewing in PS that has the yellow hue the resulting image is then as I viewed it in ACR, correct as far as I'm concerned.

In ViewNX that same image has a yellow hue. In LR develop mode the image is correct but the thumbnail to the left has the yellow hue.

INVESTIGATION -

There are references to this same problem on a couple of other forums I've found, along with references that Win 11 has not yet been fully tested in the colour management area. I have checked and rechecked absolutely every colour management setting but I can not solve it.

At present my workflow is that I only trust and use the 'colour' I view in ACR but I know that whatever I see in PS although the colour is wrong, will save correctly.

It's unclear if this is a Win 11 colour management or possibly a Graphics card compatability glitch.

P.S. Every other aspect of the update to Win 11 went faultlessly.
I have upgraded and yes I have had, and still have... (show quote)

Have you upgraded the drivers for your graphics card?

Being threatened and coerced isn't much of a choice situation. Some people have genuine concerns, and much of it has to do with the overall lack of trust in our government. That lack of trust is well earned based on the last 40-50 years. I got v******ted because I chose it over the v***s. The second shot nearly put me in the hospital.

For the most part, applications that run on a Windows computer have to be installed in order to run. You can't just copy the application files to another system like you can do with data files. The installation process installs lots of files in places you would never figure out. It also makes entries and changes to to parts of the operating system that you would never be able to duplicate. So, if you are going to use any programs such as LR, you will either have to find your original installation software and license (and it probably still won't work due to its age) or purchase and install new software.

I don't see any way to move or delete them, so I'm not sure how you lost them. ou might want to uninstall and reinstall the program to see if that fixes it.

Maybe I did not explain myself. The card only shows to be corrupt when I try to use it with the adapter on the phone. The card is fine with the camera and computer. I don't want to take the computer with me. Thanks for the link.

Your explanation is fine. What this person was trying to explain is that the file structure used in a cell phone isn't the same as that used in the camera or computer. That is why the phone wants to format the card. Take a blank card, format it in the cell phone reader, copy a couple if pics to it and then try reading them in the camera and computer to see if that is the issue.

How much lighter is your "load" going to become? Sounds like a bad GAS attack possibly.

I never knew what equipment you used was indicative of your skill level. Time to check your focus. It isn't the tool, it's what you can do with the tool.

Good point - I guess it depends on the insurance company. I have USAA for everything and have had two auto comprehensive claims (tree limbs) and two windshield claims in my first 5 years with the company with no repercussions, but Allstate dropped me after my first homeowner’s claim from a hurricane.

I found out that the only "good hands" were in my wallet.

Try this link to https://www.cambridgeincolour.com/. It's a free site. They have tutorials on just about everything and can help with understanding concepts of post processing that pretty much apply to all softwares. Understanding these concepts can then help greatly with how to achieve them in any PP software.

Have you considered the AF-S DX 55-200MM f/4-5.6 ED VRII Nikkor. Ken Rockwell gives it excellent reviews. I have a D7200 and am very happy with this lense. It is lightweight. It has a plastic mount, but unless you bang it around that shouldn't be a problem.
